AMEN! THE SSRIS I think were "pseudoopiate" of the masses; my DVM PHD work was Neuroimmunology-= and the studies I read on serotonin were very polarized about their effects- and some alarming claims of their danger when used long-term rivals my personal bane GOD delivered me- from THE BENZODIAZEPine addiction-; I complied for years as best I could- only recently did It hit me (GOD's grace) I could trace exacerbations of my OCD and aspergus - comorbidity- to times when I was "a few days out" of my prescribed benzos; also, the therapeutic effects, when reading journals of progress,. are very undulating when I ran graph of benzos use; the most effective drugs for me were anafranil for OCD and Depakote-Valproic acid- anti-epileptic and mood stabilizer cognitive behavioral therapy is TOUGH but the best, I think, long-term in conjunction with therapy and medication; these problems are very real; stigmatized here in my beloved home country; and it is brave healthcare professionals to treat those of us in this bond age; I did not finish my DVM and PHD due to pursuit of wrong girl- my faultt not hers- am now critical care paramedic- and pending RN; and opportunity to go to a new Vet school, get DVM and finish PHD! ONLY THIS TIME- my focus will be on prehospital drug and protocol controlled testing on humanely treated animals- EMergency medicine is done solely by "retroactive analysis"- the use of D5W= lactated ringers on head trauma and strokes prehospital and ER was killing patients- set up ketoacidotic shock and metabolic SEVERE acute acidosis; and DEATH; now only normal saline used in these patients- saving many many lives it took 25 years and a retroactive analysis done almost by luck found this; imagine had this protocol been tested in one controlled animal study? I think blunt trauma cardiac arrest prehospital as "guaranteed death" is also wrong; I do not believe football player who was gained ROSC had blunt trauma cardiac arrest, but commodio promis (however heart punch is spelled)- also very fatal and work prehospital was heroic; we need controlled studies to test and try new protocols to defeat these corridors to death

She's saying stay away from the screen to relieve stress but she is on the screen and wants us to watch her. And she has numerous lectures on screen. If I watched them all, my dopamine would drop to zero. But I still like looking at her. I think she means we'll.
@crisclaudio6155Ай бұрын
Of course she means well.. she has to lecture on screen because not everyone is near her or can travel to her for a private session- so this is how they tap in. If you don’t wanna watch through a screen then fly in and visit lol.
@JamesSullivan-p9mАй бұрын
@crisclaudio6155 I understand what you are saying. But I have no interest in listening to her. I would never seek her counsel. She's a "by the book" counselor. And, in fairness to her, the probable reason, is to keep from getting sued. She has a lot of dependents out there who are hanging on her every word. Again ,I understand. But to her point about dopamine levels dropping, which is true, if I tried to keep up with her subjects, I still wouldn't have any left.

I have heard that Tyrosine and B Vitamins together can help you increase dopamine production. I used to abuse drugs, especially stimulants when I was in my 20s. In order to keep up the euphoria of methamphetamine and cocaine I used to take B Vitamins and Tyrosine to replenish my depleted dopamine levels during and after a stimulant binge. I noticed a significant benefit from it and was able to stay feeling high longer until an inevitable crash. I'm no doctor, I just loved drugs and did research on how to maximize their effects. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9318435/ Here's an article from the National Institute of Health that backs up this theory.

Trish.. easy for you to say. However you are overlooking one out of 38 of us who suffer with a neurological disorder called Asperger's (or level one autism). One of the number one symptoms due to the neurological wiring of our brains, includes tremendous difficulty socializing. This is not because we want to stay alone. This is not because we prefer to be alone ....but it is the better of the two evils because the high anxiety that is produced when we are socializing or anticipating a social event, is absolutely tremendous. So instead, we opt for the loneliness of being alone because at least it causes the high debilitating anxiety to become manageable. So you see, we are really dealing with a dog chasing its tail situation here, with no forseable solution...... So we as autistics are highly prone to behavioral addictions and all of the fallout that goes with it...... It seems to be a no-win situation..... Very few counselors can help with it.... because very few counselors recognize it and can properly address it.....Very very depressing and exasperating.

There is no dopamine in a big city to be found, for the big city induces high levels of stress by design, that is the price of capitalism. The city produces many goods and services, and things of material comfort, but it kills you with stress on the other hand. That is the very reason why I dont connect with people. Capitalism and consumerism creates acquired, new needs , especially in the field of mental health and pshysical health, due to its very nature, sobecause of the system thrives on scarcity it takes advantage of it when people get sick due to unhealthy/highly stressful social environments, by offering health treatments, which will never 100% solve the problem because the environment wont let it. And it is good for health practicioner because they make money but not for the rest of people bacuse they keep getting mentally sick. No one can thrive on a toxic environment. Plus the same government who sells pills FDA and says to care for the wellbeing of people is the one allowing pornography on the internet. They are capitalistic hypocrites, because if they could arrested the person behind the pirate bay for thousands of copyright infridgements, they can also arrested all sex "workers" and not allow pornography actress to follow this carreer path, IF THEY TRULY CARED. But they wont because they know capitalism thrives on scarcity not abundance, if everyone is health , that could mean the loss of thosandsa of mental health jobs. No is saying that we dont work for our survival, but the system allows for toxic businesses which by the natire of the system it will create jobs out the scarcity that the toxic business of pornography produces, That IS NOT LIVING IN ABUNDANCE, BUT IN HYPOCRISY. tHE SYSTEM IS TOXIC, it want people sick, it NEEDS people sick to thrive.
