You Muslims are so confused. This is because your God is limited from day one of your religion, and you cannot get around this. On day one, your god did not know Muhammed could not read. The limited Allah does not know the unseen!!! So Allah asked him to read. He failed to make Muhammed read! So he tried a second time, Allah failed again! So he tried a 3rd time. Allah FAILED a 3rd time. If my god, the true god, asked me to read just once, I would instantly become the best reader in the world. You have a limited god from day one of your religion. Allah then has to come into his creation every 3rd part of night because he is limited and cannot hear a prayer from everywhere. But note, he has to enter his creation, and all Muslims say such an action proves Allah cannot be god. In another example, you Muslims say Allah entered his creation as a tree. Because he is limited, he can appear as a tree but not as human. This is because a human form is too difficult for him but a simple tree is not.

I fast 365 days and break my fast in the morning, it is called breakFAST. This is not true FASTing. True fasting is no food and drink 24/7. You taqiyya boys do not FAST, you time shift breakfast from 7AM to 7PM, you eat more and some of you get fat. You are deluded by your own taqiyya.

Oh, this is an interesting comment because I'm here for the same reason. I'm convinced that if your sincere intention is advancing your spirituality you will enjoy the process. Not that it won't be challenging, but it will be challenging more so in the way of when you run into obstacles while working on something you love - you'll just push through it because the obstacle is not your focus, your focus is what's on the other side of the obstacle and so you push through to achieve it. Contrastingly, people who think of fasting as simply not eating suffer greatly. Anyway, godspeed friend. I'm going to fast for Ramadan too.

I 100% agree, the best time of the year is Ramadan, It brings so much joy , the family gathering everyday , preparing food together ..I also feel so overwhelmed when I go to the mosque at night prayers..as hot and crowded it can get in the mosque, It feels like an empty, comfortable and peaceful place, You forget about anything related to real life, all your problems , literally ..The only thing I can think of during that time is how I'm so grateful to be a part of it...and sometimes I can't stop my tears, you just feel the presence of something , a soul .. everyone is just focused on themselves..and for me that one hour goes by so fast . I'd say the only hard thing about Ramadan is organizing my time and having balance, I don't get enough sleep and I get a little bit tired 😩 I'm saying this even tho I'm not the best muslim out there , not the most practicing but Ramadan is truly special.

That tiresome I feel it too, the most drinking water and food become normal after a few days nuts realistically I get 3-4 hours of sleep at best on my work day but that tiresome and crankiness is so rewarding it feels great and humbling and InshaAllah we get rewarded for that. Once you get used to it, no food and no drink is definitely not a problem. The big problem for most muslims are to control the big temptation for not being patience enough. Giving charity & helping the needy, marriage, cooking for your spouse, playing with your children, smiling, avoid smoking & drinking etc are all acts of worship. Fasting = heightened senses. Everything you touch, taste, smell, think, etc. is empowered when your body is starving, because your natural senses are fully engaged. This is a biological survival instinct that is hardwired into every human, as we are simply animals and the urge to survive is paramount. When life is comfortable, we naturally relax our animalistic instincts, because we are in a heightened state of existence and no longer need to worry about a leopard eating us. No food = the body thinks it's dying, so it fully activates every sense we have, in order to increase the odds of survival. Grabbing (a) chicken at the grocery store is harder than in the wild. You will need all 6 senses at full capacity in order to survive as a human in the wild. When you are starving, the world becomes clearer. Your thoughts become closer to your reality. Therefore, it makes total sense that the most "spiritual" experiences that one can experience is during a time of starvation. Is it God that you are closer with during times of fasting? Or are you simply experiencing what it truly means to be Human, which is different than your day to day? Or is this God's way of reaching us in a world of distractions? Questions like this have led me astray of religion, however I am curious to hear religious people's thoughts on the matter.

Nothing to do with religion, but I've been on OMAD (one meal a day) since 2018 but I do drink water. My simple reasoning - people with sedentary jobs do not need to eat 3-meals a day unless you are a farmer or do physically laborious jobs or body building. Through this I believe you can attain self-discipline and mastery over hunger and set you up on the path to total self-mastery. You got one body, one life and one chance - why not master it and be the best version of it.

its not that difficult either. the first 8 hours you wont notice anything especially if youre used to intermittent fasting anyway. so you can eat at 5:30 and get your work day done without any trouble. then go to sleep and wake up for iftar. I really dont know why people think its hard.

Fasting during Ramadan is another way of expressing your devotion to your creator You give out your time 5 times a day for prayers, you give out 2.5% of your retained money every year for charity and in Ramadan you give out your worldly desires for a whole month. This how Muslims submit to god Time , money and desire

@@htownali provide the rules and I’ll try. Just no eating or drinking during day light hours for 1 month? I generally do it the other way around, no food after 5pm and no eating until at least 8am. If I did Ramadan I need water during the day to keep my blood pressure up and prevent UTIs cause I’m a cripple. What other rules are there? No technology or anything, I need to work to pay my mortgage, this won’t work. I’m connected to the spirit always and only listen to music strictly and I rarely watch movies etc.

Not least on the minds of Muslims is the hope that Allah forgives us our past sins, is pleased with us on the Day of Judgement, and that we escape punishment. "The Prophet ﷺ said: Allah says: Fasting is for me I shall reward for it. And the fasting person has two moments of joy: When he breaks his fast and when he meets his Lord. (Muslim)". This is from a branch of Hadith referred to as Hadith Qudsi where the Prophet (pbuh) relates what Allah says but not forming part of the Quran.

If you Google the name of your city and add prayer times or salah times then you will find a time schedule for each prayer. There is a prayer that is done around sunset time and it’s called maghrib. Check the time for maghrib prayer in your city and that’s time you end your fast. So for example if you live in New York, Google new york maghrib time and you’ll find the time

If you’re getting into fasting. A few pointers are Eat a lot during you’re eating period, eat nourishing food. If not, it will lead to headaches or crankyness. If you’re fasting not during Ramadan you can sip tea to make you’re cravings go away. And up you’re salt intake because you’re body will pee a lot of it out during the fast to fuel you’re body. Just to clarify something. Muslims are not only the followers of the prophet Mohamed (PBUH) that is a wrong conception, muslims are everyone who believe in God and last day and it is a universal phenomenon which means other rational creature in the universe believe in the same source God as we do on our planet earth. So muslims are actually (believers name of the followers of prophet Mohamed (PBUH) - Christians followers of prophet Isa (Jesus PBUH) - Jews followers of prophet Moses (PBUH) and rest of the world (anyone who believes in God)). Islam is one religion that started with first Prophet Noah (PBUH) and ended with last prophet Mohamed (PBUH). It is a progressive message that have been evolving alongside human being evolvement. Peace and love to all my fellow humans

Allah says, (I'm not quoting directly) that we should abide by the rules (dusk till dawn) but not go any further than that. For example, It's actually a sin to fast longer than you're supposed to, so when it's time to eat, you HAVE to eat. Don't do more than what's expected of you, Sunnet is obviously good, but not eating in the morning isn't Sunnet, it's just unnecessary torture, so if Allah gives me the opportunity to eat in the morning right before the sun rises, I'm going to do that. I'm not circumventing the purpose, fasting is already difficult, why make it more difficult by refusing to do something that's perfectly allowed?

idk how it makes any sense im fasting and i genuinely genuinely hate it so much i became worst as a person i genuinely hate the fact how its “obligatory” to starve ourselves every day in a months thats terrible how is it right if i all day im constantly feeling like shit and i never after the fact was like “thats was great the turning pain and discomfort in my stomach and banging headache in my skull from lack of food was so humbling its amazing😊” no one in there right mind. if you see a big fiery meteorite coming towards earth, what are you gonna be like “well at least i didnt eat😊” dumb this is the only body i get in this lifetime but im only allowed to enjoy it when i die?! are you serious man?? how in the world is this uplifting if i feel like dogsh!t and agravated but for some reason when i ate i felt good i thanked allah for the food. how dare any so called “believer’s” try to dictate and try to tell me out i feel about god and righteousness and so far the religions seems so unnecessarily prudish rather than pious. these minutes hours and years are the only thing we have in this world that no one can ever get back.
