Alien fused clapton with Daedalus (hands free)

Mate this is absolute genius! I have been trying for weeks to do Aliens on the Daedalus using the hand-feed method with no success and have been waiting on someone figuring out a fairly automatic method as I have limited use of both hands so a MASSIVE THANK YOU, YOU ABSOLUTE LEGEND!!! 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

@@baspratama5202 A pen…..😜 Sorry mate, I couldn’t resist….🤣😂🤣 The other jig is the wonderful product Avidartisan Daedalus Pro Coil Jig Coiling Tool Set. The version in this video was version 1. I have v2 which addressed a few issues and made slight improvements with some things. I don’t know why they haven’t updated it to work out the Alien coils. I’m still hoping. I love mine and would be lost without it. It’s basic fused claptons for me for 3 years. Maybe you can still find the Daedalus around somewhere…..

So you're tension must not be that tight? You hardly had your wrapped wire curling, still having troubles with my cradle not moving right, I feel like the cradle or the wire spool holder jerks and twitches a lot ruining a lot of wire =(

This is an example how I did it. It was the first alien coil because I record every experiment. The ball pen can be changed with a metallic tube. There were a lot of frictions so static electricity were present and of course the dust particles on my work table. Even during claptoning a simple clapton can be seen dust particles and also there is friction with the spool ( made from plastic) so even there could be plastic particle.

it probably is fine to use a pen like you did, i am just a bit paranoid ;) btw i am failing on this now for the 4th time, about 1 cm is what i got out of my 4 attempts may i ask where you got the second alien maker like metal thingy from?

You are not paranoid at all, could be even brass particles from the guide. The wrap wire dug a deep groove in my brass guide. See in "Triple core fused clapton and Daedalus mods" how I splitted the gauge or in the last video "Daedalus to Daedalus plus" how to use unmodified gauge. I couldn't make even triple fused clapton with the unmodified gauge.

Of course I peeled the sticky layer. It was easy but you can use any rubber pad but not too soft.

Should be possible but you have to use the swivel to keep the core straight.

Sorry, I can't figure out what cylinder. If you refer to this kzbin.info/www/bejne/o5vYeX99Yr1kZpY it is a plastic cap I don't remember from where. If you refer to the wrap wire it is the clapton wire made here kzbin.info/www/bejne/o5vYeX99Yr1kZpY after I pulled out the core wire and I streched it. I didn't explained more detailed because there are a lot of videos how to make alien coil manually. The preparation it is the same. Be carefull at the wrap direction for clapton and for alien.

Sorry to hear that. Definitely you did something wrong. The wires are not wasted. Can be reused very easy with Daedalus to do normal or multicore clapton. Here I reuse a clapton wrap wire kzbin.info/www/bejne/rWamhWepdpaiaq8

Dim Adi The problem im facing is when trying to Clapton the coil, it keeps wrapping on top of each other, the piece that is supposed to be pushed back by itself doesnt... No mayter how much i try and how kuch tension i apply on it Btw, im using thr PRO version , do you think its different?

It is very hard to tell you what is wrong as I never had such problem with Pro or first version. Maybe if you can take some photos or videos and post somewhere or send to [e-mail] I could figure out.
