Second story, ugh. Jane is toxic as hell. As a Bi individual myself, bi erasure and Bi-phobia are both very real problems within the LGBTQ community. You might not think it, but this idea of "well, bi people will fuck anyone that even glances at them." seems to be a constant within the community. I've heard it far too often. The other one that really aggravates is "oh, you're just confused. You'll figure out that you're really gay in no time." The erasure part of it. This is another one I have heard a lot of. It's like the community had forgotten that the "B" in LGBTQ stands for "Bisexual"

The 'confused' one pisses me off, too. Or worse, 'but you married your husband'. Yeah, ok? Put him in a female body and I'd still be just as attracted to him. Might make more sense, too, as he's WAY more into clothes, decorating, and all that fun sh!t.

It’s sad that the moment I heard that OP was bi and Jane was a lesbian that I knew it was going to turn out that way. Jane reminds me of the toxic Gold Star Lesbians who treat any woman who have had a relationship with a man in the past like they “betrayed their sexuality” and then preach about how women who’ve only been with women are the “good ones.” As someone who’s Bi, it makes me kinda nervous if I were to encounter someone like Jane at a pride rally or parade.

When a person says theyre bi it comes off different from a male or female saying it. When a female says it, it throws up cheating flags when typically women are the smart ones in a m/f relationship and tend to be the ones who cheat when their partner isnt getting them off everytime in bed. Instead of saying something they tend to go find someone who does get them off while staying with the other person taking in all the other aspects of the relationship they like which the person theyre cheating with could not. On the other side when a male says he’s bi in a m/f relationship it makes the male look like a bitch and wont hold his own in the deal. Those turn out to be more of a friendship than a relationship where they act like two girls all the time and the affection isn’t prominent.. as for m/m and f/f relationships when one is “bi” they all tend not to work out period because one is committed to being fully all about the same sex and the other being bisexual but then committing to a fully gay relationship changes the way they describe themselves unless the relationship is monogamous which isnt really a relationship at all (unless theyre swingers and always end up back with eachother living that life.. but relationships are hard enough to make work so having two people who are that tightly bonded is a rarity )…. But statistically saying here the shit usually wont work for a relationship just like a person who was not gay dating a man who changed thenselves into a woman. If the non gay person is aware of this, the fact the other was a man would eat at them and their masculinity as well as ego.. but like i said it would all really depend on their bond.. and that is sonething that would be felt mutually.. which again like i said is a rare thing to find mutually and sharing eachotgers feelings evenly.. most the time there youll have one thinking they are on the same mindset and both are happy when the other is hiding their sentiments until sonething isnt inline then draw the line when that line has already been breached killing any future.. i know im not wrong but cant be 100% because theres manipulative people, mean people, greedy, and then theres the opposite.. most being selfish and more on the side of being fuckers than there are good considerate caring people in this world. Buti base my thoughts on the facts i personally see.. im not bi or lgtbqlmnop either so will probably just be called a bigot or whatever so in that case go eat a dick or a pussy or both. Lol. Your choice.. see that statement doesnt work for bi people cuz they just be like, yea i plan on it.. ha!

@@Z-Ack Some of your theories are quite a bit off, in my experience - 49 yo bisexual here, friend of many other bisexuals. Ultimately cheating has nothing to do with a person's sexual identity/persuasion, it can be performed by anyone of any gender or sexuality. Cheating is a selfish act of entitlement. Period. Bisexuality means we can be attracted to either side of the fence, but it doesn't mean we're trying to actively have sex with every single person who enters our visual range.That's absurd. I engage in monogamous, long term relationships, my current one is going on its 14th year now. Most bisexuals don't have problems committing to one partner of whatever gender and feeling fulfilled in their healthy relationships. I say most, because there are people who need to have poly relationships to feel fulfilled, and so long as it is consensual and everyone is open about it, not a crime and still not considered cheating.

Story 1: NTA OP's dad did exactly what he did on purpose. His wishes are pretty clear in who he wanted to have that money. There is a lawyer I watched called Steve Lehto and he likes to talk about how your actions can reveal your intentions when it comes to legal matters. Here, the attempt by Betty to hide the information is extremely telling of Betty's intentions. She was going to present this differently to OPso that it made it seem like she didn't have a choice. Now that's not possible, hopefully. OP should keep it. Edit: she wants them to have NOTHING. It's petty and realistic based on their history, true. I don't get why people stay married to people who hate their kids for no reason.

Story 2: "You do this two days a week" Oooh a whole two days away from Jane. I can feel the toxic radiation from here, how scary. /s On a serious note, how is it not fair for OP to go to a party without Jane but Jane goes everywhere without OP and that's fine. That's perfectly okay and healthy. "It's normal for partners to want to get to know your friends" not the way she's doing it 🤨 has _Op_ ever met _Jane's_ friends? Or has Jane insisted that she "needs alone time" whenever Op asks to join while pitching a fit when OP does the same? "It's weird that you and your friends have a 'no partners allowed' rule" it really isn't 🤨 it's perfectly normal for friends to have a night out together without their partners. Honestly, if you can't go at least a night or two without your partner, _that's_ an issue you should be focusing on. Hoo boy. Bisexual, pansexual, asexual, and transexual, people have one very special thing in common: they are harassed by straight and LGBTQ+ people. Bisexuals and pansexuals are seen as "not part of the LGBTQ+ community to biphobee/panphobes because they are "betraying" the LGBTQ+ community for liking outside of their sex. Homophobes don't like them either because they still like people in the same sex. There is no winning for bi and pan people. Asexuals have a very similar issue since they don't like anyone. Some believe that they shouldn't be included in the LGBTQ+ community because of their lack of sexual interest, but they also get ire from the straights because "you shouldn't be single." The reason asexuals are LGBTQ+ is because not having a sexual preference is a sexual preference. Finaly transsexuals. Do I really need to explain? There are TERFs who don't believe trans people deserve rights as women, no matter what they did/do identify as. Then there's the whole "are you REALLY gay?" When a trans man dates a cis man. Lots of transphobia too. Note: There are other sexualities that get hate in the LGBTQ community, but these are the 4 I personally see the most (especially as an asexual biromantic).

Pansexuality is literally everyone regardless of gender, the fact some people say they of all people are "gay passing" is just stupid. Pansexual people like others regardless of their gender, that means people out of the binary which is nearly a 100+ more genders. By your own stupid definition, pansexuals are in fact "gayer" than cis lesbian/gay people, who only (usually) like one. Bi/pan eraser is awful, no one is more "gayer" than someone else because of their attraction. 1. The first thing I want to say is this. When you are receiving Social Security benefits you don't get to double dip. In other words, if you are already receiving benefits, you don't get survivor/widows benefits on top of it. It's either one or the other but never both. With the step mom, it's not the amount of money, but the fact that OP has it. That is what has set the step mom off. She doesn't want to share w/OP, she doesn't like OP. 2. So glad that OP saw the light and dumped Jane.

Story 2: GF straight up says OP shouldn’t go out without her? Controlling, manipulative, and entitled behavior. 1) Betty gets about a $1M, which, if used properly in addition with survivor benefits should be more than enough to live out the rest of her days on. Frank needs to made to disappear if she wants it to last. 2) The IRA is YOURS. Betty can go pound sand. 3) Is the estate lawyer honest? Sort of sounds like he isn't if he's trying to set up a trust with Betty as part of it.

The wicked stepmother in the 1st story has a mental defect called greed. She simply believes that everything her husband had should be hers, and of course, her darling son's. What always makes you shake your head is that these people are oblivious to how they look to the rest of us. Grasping and conniving, that's how. That woman could give Ebeneze Scrooge lessons.

I had a feeling when OP said they're bi that that would be the issue. So stupid that the gf would think that way but I've experienced a similar issue myself so it's a bit of a touchy subject for me lol. The father must have been a doormat. I'm disappointed, in my book an "old Italian" amounts to more than that. Otherwise I can't explain what he did with the will. It's a miracle that he left something to OP.
@rylashadow18
@rylashadow18 2 жыл бұрын
S1)She got her split as decreed in the will. Whatever is in the IRA's is for your use and for you to share with your brother. She only wants to strong arm you cause she's giving it over to her son who you, your brother and father had no real connection to. If she went through all of her money because she allowed him to leech off of her what's to say she won't turn around and try to come after anything that's left? It'd be gone possibly in a week if not a month and then you have nothing. If she's struggling due to her poor choices that falls under the too bad so sad take it and eat rocks options. I'd lawyer up as well as insist on a cease and desist order against her. S2) After the update I'm glad OP got herself out of that situation. Jane allowed her insecurities as well as doubt create a toxic stand point and someone like that would only escalate as soon as they were able to cut you off from your support group. Currently I'm trying to get some work done as I listen. I finished off a piece and sent if off last night. This morning it went over so amazingly well and I'm happy with that. Sometimes I listen as I do some important paperwork and will talk to someone about the plans I have for starting work if they don't mind helping. From there it's only moving up and forward. I hope it's the same for every last one of you

I totally agree with the comments that the girlfriend is trying to be controlling, lacks trust, and is jealous of the writer of the story, it’s also obvious that the relationship is going nowhere, it seems obvious to me, and most others, that she, the writer, should get out of the relationship now, leaving it until more time elapses will make it much harder and emotionally charged for both people.

You are correct on meaning of IRA. There are two kinds. Traditional IRAs allow you to invest before paying any taxes. Money is taxed as you take distributions out of. Roth IRAs are taxed BEFORE investing, but then you can later take distributions tax-free.

OP made it clear that OP’s girlfriend didn’t like OP’s friend group and didn’t invite her to any of her hangouts while OP has to bring her girlfriend. I swear that commenter needs to reread the post.
