I love that Mike is down to experiment and it’s funny to sing along in my head while listening to this played in a beautiful classical style. Do you think the musicians listened to the original song or Baz and Mike just gave them music to play? As that violinist is playing a beautiful harmony “why won’t anybody fuck me..” haha. But this is super cool and I’ll def buy this album. I hear him mention on Chris DeMakes a Podcast that he’s working on a book that discusses a bunch of different songs. Meanings, how we wrote it, cool facts, etc - I am sooo pumped for that. But in the interim, classical NOFX is very cool. I dig it. Keep doing cool shit Mike!
