The Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara has been my all time favorite! I prefer the non-waterproof, and in brown.

Idole mascara from Lancôme was a huge surprise and it has become my favorite. It give me so much volume without getting clumpy and it doesn’t flake or smudge (mind you my eyes are watery and waterproof mascara is my go to). Another product that has become a staple in my everyday routine are the the Bobbi Brown Cream Shadow Sticks, they are worth every penny! Easy to blend, last 12-16 hours, and versatile. I can go from soft and natural to bold and sultry without having to carry a pallet.

I literally just bought the corrector a few days ago, and only got it because the employee recommended it as an alternative hydrating corrector because Becca or smash box was sold out. I love it, so happy she recommended it.

I’m not a big high end shopper, but this year I decided to try the Esteé Lauder Double Wear foundation for my wedding. It’s my favorite foundation now because it doesn’t cause me to break out, doesn’t dry out my skin like other long-wearing formulas do, and looks good all day.

The lancome mascara is my favorite! I've been using it for a couple years! I love it! I don't use the waterproof unless I need to, because it is hard to remove. However the regular mascara is just as good for me at least!

Gurl you kept it together when that highlighter hit the floor lol That’s crazy how it so expensive and yet cheaply put together.(imo) I love my high end makeup but I really love my drugstore makeup and they have proven that makeup doesn’t have to be so expensive. A year or so ago someone (forgive me - I can’t remember which Influencer! 🤦‍♀️) suggested W7 Hollywood Bronze and Glow Duo Compact as a Dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glo. I bought it on Amazon and absolutely love it! And it’s $5.95! And have to add it hasn’t fallen out of the compact! Ha! Jokes aside, it is a great product - at least I think so.

Zabrena, those of us who love a particular powder product know that we can't always just get a replacement. Items are over- shipped or maybe discontinued. But someone from Charlotte Tilbury should reach out to you and offer a free replacement, especially since their product quite clearly committed suicide on camera! Unless that first one was provided in a PR package, then I guess maybe there's a third party who should step up and do the right thing. I've learned how to reconstitute beloved broken powder products, using rubbing alcohol and just a drop or two of either rosewater or glycerine. How-tos can be found on KZbin. I've resurrected a few of my favorites, and while I wish all manufacturers would step up and replace their oopsies, the reality all too often is "Buyer Beware!" I love that Bobbi Brown corrector too. A few of my other high end faves from this year that I discovered are the Tatcha Silk Powder, MAC Mineralized blush in Naturally Flawless (Warm Soul was my 2020 holy grail & I still use it several times a week) & rediscovered the Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey.

Hi Zabrena, try using the Lancome Faux Cils Booster under the Mr. Big mascara. I love the Mr. Big waterproof version too. I tried the regular version, but it's just not as long lasting on me. The primer helps so when I go to remove the mascara there is a coat between my lashes and the mascara already. It makes it so much easier to remove, warm water and a good cleanser and it's all gone. If some is still a bit stubborn,I just use my Lancome eye makeup remover.

So agree with the Filmstar Bronze and Glow. I feel your pain as it broke. I eke it out with L’Oréal Lumi Bronze It in Fair. But the Charlotte T is my favourite. It’s a cool tone that works as contour and bronzer for me. Her big single bronzer was returned because it was too yellow. Most bronzer is too orange. CT hit it out of the park with the Filmstar Bronze and Glow.

I'd just pick that highlighter up, dust it off, and keep using the pieces I could! My high end holy grail is MAC Studio Fix Powder foundation. It comes in a perfect shade for me, works well with my oily skin and best of all if applied with a fluffy brush, it looks natural on my shall we say "mature" face 😁. Love your videos...thank you ! For my dry skin I absolutely love the ambient light powders from hourglass. I got a quad this last years and it has the all over face powder, blush, bronzer and highlighter. It’s soooo pretty on my skin! I also discovered jeffree star face powder (the glowy one) it’s stunning too as most of his products are 🥰

CT look of love palette is my desert Island HG to die for etc etc. I am a busy mum and I can basically do a full face with just the palette within 30 mins. Ofcourse foundation is not included in the palette. Absolutely top notch made in Italy exquisite feel good makeup ❤️.

Oh, no! My stomach dropped when I saw the highlighter drop out! 😱 A drugstore dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury highlighter? The Revlon Skin Lights! Also- WetNWild has a bronzer (with just a smidge of shimmer) that is a dupe for the CT! My favorite high end product of 2021- is the Huda Beauty Rose Quartz palette! I’ve not seen anything like this cool toned purple palette! There’s at least 3 duo chrome shimmer shades in this palette! 💜💜💜

My favs from this year would be the CT Bronzer and CT Hollywood Flawless Filter in shade 2.5, the Dior Backstage Highlighter pallet (I think it's called) and the Sephora Best Skin Ever foundation. I have 2 Urban Decay Brow Blade pens. I've traveled with both and never had a problem with the cap falling off. The cap is quite secure. It's possible your pen had a loose cap from the beginning and probably became more loose over time. Lancôme has the best mascaras. I do use Maybelline in between, but I always get Lancôme when there's a sale and stock up. Happy New Year and looking forward to your videos in 2022🎉

I have the CT green duo pencil and it is beautiful- highly recommend!! Also Mr. big waterproof mascara is my fav mascara it’s so good- I’ve gone thru several tubes, also love the grande cosmetics waterproof one- has conditioning peptides and makes lashes insanely long! HAUS LABORATORIES Matte lip crayons, eye pencils, and eyeliners are great. Also, Natasha Denona‘s new Retro and Glam eyeshadow palettes. Huda beauty eyeshadow palettes, inc. I love the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear All Over Concealer and the Teint Idole Lash Lifting and Volumizing Mascara. I also love the It Cosmetics Your Skin but Better + Skincare Foundation. The main skin care item I discovered was Tretinoin. I’ve been using it for 2 months and I’ve already started seeing a big difference in my skin. I’m 57 and my skin is looking better now then when I was in my 40’s.

I had an idea for you to consider…I am hoping to take my son to the Faroe Islands in April. I want to only take a backpack on the plane and I want to limit taking liquid anything so I don’t have that hassle at the airport. What non liquid makeup would you take with you if your were leaving on a plane for 2 weeks. My high end FIND this year is the Chanel Ultra Le Teint powder foundation. It is amazing. I tried the L’Oreal powder foundation and no matter what I do it looks like my face is so dried out…like all the moisture was sucked out of my face so I decided to try Chanel’s powder foundation and it is great. I have the brown CT liner combo on my wishlist. I bought minis if 2 Lancome mascaras. That monsieur big & the lash idole. I'm actually liking the lash idole better. I first used it on its own but lately started using a lash primer (just bought one from Essence for now) & it makes my lashes look amazing. I've also used the idole with the m big overtop & that's pretty as well.

The Lancôme primer is probably the best quality I've tried. There are holiday sets with both primer and mascara, probably at Sephora and Ulta. Maybe check online. The I've seen sets for the price of one mascara, so it's definitely a better value.

I finally tried brow wiz by Anastasia and I love the spoolie end and how soft it is. However, I use the elf clear brow gel to set so it kind of helps. I also love the NYX micro brow as a dupe! I love that auburn and once I'm don't with all my eyebrow pencils I will try that one. Buxom Lash waterproof mascara is amazing for me, and does very well as a base for your other mascaras. It's got a light coat with a beautiful spoolie. -you can also be very dramatic with it! (: Also the stila mascara in the gold tube has my heart 💜💜

Z, I am curious - how does the Chantecaille (?) Compare with the Boots Number 7 powder? I spend my high end pennies on EL Double wear because it has a shade LIGHT enough for my fair skin. 🙄 Also the Nars Orgasm blush, which is my day to day fave. If I were to splurge on anything else, I'd like to try the YSL Touche Eclat (?) primer. I needed a good blurring helper. Also, Pixi makes a nice color corrector/concealer I'm fond of. My Charlotte Tilbury bronzes and glow palette did the SAME thing! High liter fell out and chipped. Then I looked at it wrong and it shattered. I was so mad. I can’t tell if the bronzers on her website are the contour color from the palette. You’d think she would sell them individually?

It's definitely the benefit gimme brow for me. I just can't find the perfect dupe for it. Not even the elf brow tint or the essence one can replace the benefit gimme brow. The more I look for a drugstore dupe the more I realize that I'm just wasting money.

Z, please do me the favor and report your Charlotte compact. That's definitely quality control and NOT YOUR FAULT! They should replace it for you, especially if that was purchased within the year. If you made your purchase through Beautylish, even better! They will absolutely replace it for you. I used to work there and the customer service is bar none to everyone else. We used to get a lot of returns on that particular compact because of the glue issue and the pan popping out. It was never an issue to replace. Please please contact them! That is so not the product you want defuncting on you like that, when it costs so much!

Ive really got into drugstore these pass 2 yrs. I do have some highend eyeshadows. I enjoy huda eyeshadows alot. I'm not a big fan of Natasha Denona like everyone elsw is. My Charlotte Tillbury finishing pressed powder compact is currently being held together with rubber bands because it, too, broke apart. Very cheap presentation for so much $$$ Last time I spend on that brand!

The Colourpop gel liners are too soft and break easy. I store them in my beauty fridge on my vanity. Still I recommend a soft hand as it is creamy.
