When I watched the fight live, I had it 115-113 Beterbiev. Then, I scored the fight 116-112 Beterbiev after watching the replay two more times.

@@vaughnjackson6297you know that out of the whole 12 rounds the three judges only had different views on two rounds. Those rounds were round 4 and 7. The rest, they scored exactly the same. So I think the original poster does know how to score. The fight was of an extremely high iQ level and was very close.

Beterbiev was throwing touch jabs but getting countered by Bivol. Beterbiev was throwing most of stuff hard because he has heavy hands but he was not using a lot of force behind it. But I disagree Beterbiev was landing much of anything. He was having a great difficulty landing much of anything. Bivol was blocking almost everything. Bivol on the other was landing flush clean shots period. Bivol was in control of the fight from beginning to end.

Bivol, he didn’t have a clue how to respond to the constant return fire from Beterbiev. Bivol boxed absolutely beautifully in moments and also got bashed around the ring helplessly in many others. Most his salvos just seemed to irritate artur and then he paid for it whereas even the shots Bivol blocked looked devastating and wrote the story of many rounds. Close and competitive but I think you gotta give that one to Beterbiev. Not a robbery either way.

Bivol boxed well and showed great movements. The reality is Beterbiev threw the harder shots and pressed the action. Bivol had every opportunity to engage but he got on his bicycle to play it safe. The fight was close but the clear winner is Beterbiev. He deserved the win and he showed it by being the aggressor. He was more determined and ambitious period.

Beterbiev was busier ,did the more damage but Bivol did the flashier work in spirts ,not enough and h ost the last 3 rounds .Had it have been in the 80sArtur would have KO’ed him by the 15 th and I believe he stops him in the rematch .
