Great simple video Just ordered that exact model. Can't imagine being one of those non pro hobby shooters or non pro gunsmiths who paid $600-$1k for a Hawkeye They gotta be drowning now in buyers remorse I paid $53 TMD

What is the rod and mirror piece made of? Will they scratch the bore, or damage the crown or chamber?

I am late to the show but do you have any tips on getting these to focus and reduce glare?

Could the white grommet be slid up towards the camera and used to keep the lens cantered in the bore to keep focus

I just ordered one rigid that would work with my I Pad or I Phone or computer I Pad would be more convenient for me
@deerphoria4314 Жыл бұрын
which one do you like the most Rigid or Flexible (model #). One with just UBC or wifi? I assume the rigid will not reach the muzzle area if going from the back of the receiver since it's only 26 inches long.
@FClassJohn Жыл бұрын
At home I prefer the rigid wifi model. Just so much easier to deal with but for matches I take a flexible wifi with me. I don't worry about the muzzle end nearly as much so if I have to go that far, I just come in from the muzzle end.

I'll go try and look it up, but what is the smallest caliber this will fit? Will it work with a 204? It appears to compete very well against the Lyman, which was a real breakthrough until Teslong came out. Thanks for the review! ETA: Looks like it keeps their 5mm diameter, similar to their other models and is 21" long similar to the Lyman.
@FClassJohn5 жыл бұрын
They claim it is 5 mm or .20 inches.

@@FClassJohn Thanks. Where I find these extremely valuable, is the study of long runs, for example varmint trips where the daily volume can be very high without cleaning. I'm really starting to like 17 HMR and 204 Ruger and getting portable scopes for those diameters is a challenge without going to expensive units. Thanks again for the valuable insights and Happy Holidays!

@@dinoc.5537 Yes it does fit the 204, PA Wild uses a similar Teslong bore scope on his 204 that’s is not rigid but has the same diameter.
