Fearless photographer chases off polar bear when it gets too close

A fearless wildlife photographer proved that he would go to great lengths to get the perfect shot - even if it meant shooing away a giant polar bear. Maxim Deminov wasn't the least bit intimidated by a curious beast while he was filming making sure he got some great pictures before he scared the animal off, multiple times. His work was part of the 'Bear Patrol' which monitored and prevented possible bear conflicts near their settlement in Cape Kozhevnikov, Russia.

This was a young polar bear, more curious than hungry. The young bear wasn't territorial hence to why he didn't show much signs of agression. You can see the bear slightly frustrated but I think it's because he wasn't able to get as close as he wanted to find out what that smell was. Young black bear shows us the same behavior in national Parks. I lived in Jasper national park in Canada. Had many encounters with wildlife. But please.... never turn your back to predators. They will see you as prey.

The polar bear wasn’t that hungry to risk injury and the reason it fears him is because he’s enacting predator like behavior, standing his ground and in a sense chasing away any from his “territory” therefore it’s identifies the man as another potentially dangerous predator but it’s curiously incites it to persist on analyzing the situation laid out.
