Katy M cmon dude...underOath are not the “God’s of post hardcore” even if At the Drive In isn’t. Especially not after this which is essentially a pop metal track. There are loads of post hardcore bands and records that are more important than any underoath put out. Not to disrespect them tho, they have made some great music.

Trenton Worsham you are going to cite billboard as to why underOath are the gods of post hardcore? Sales will never be indicative of anything but popularity and accessibility. And like I said, a myriad of bands are moreso responsible for paving the way for other bands. It’s fine you think underOath is so important but I just respectfully disagree.

Dont get me wrong I like Christian music but when you're labeled as that people will judge your mistakes and expect too much of you. In reality nobody is perfect if people honestly get mad at Underoath for changing just remember your not perfect yourself everyone goes through changes. In the end its all about music though and having a good time, jam on!

Andrew Mirasol it wasn’t actually a question. But Mathias said he hopes Spencer gets some songs to sing on which confused me since the entirety of this song is fronted by spence

It feels like these guys still have a good grasp of the gospel and may be writing from a seriously cold, cold place from God. We are to be hot or cold for God as believers, not lukewarm - haven’t seen lukewarm out of Underoath. Their message can still be utilized for good especially in our day and age for what some of these kids deal with. It could be the perfect thing to seep into a “Christian” household where a teen needs to hear something they are going through without being shamed or condemned by their parents (who may have hidden agendas of their own with infidelity, porn, alcohol, drugs, etc.). Too often, parenting doesn’t depict the love of The Father. Even as an adult, I can hear what is going on through the lyrics here and I can feel that God calls out to them in their pain. Even David said, “My God, My God, what hast thou forsaken me?” in Psalms 22:1. Even Jesus says those exact same words to fulfill His obedience to God.

He's killing it on the kit. Everything else about this severely pales in comparison to anything on Define the Great Line/Lost in the Sound though. I was almost digging it well enough until that chorus hits. Can't stand that at all. That's some shitty radio hard rock level noise.

This should also be the"softest" of the album since it's the single. I really dig this one.

If they gotten any softer I would be done with them for life, it was hard enough for me to adjust after Dallas left, I like spencer too but the path the band chose after replacing Taylor is night and day difference

There are no words that can describe what this song means to me. I watched the premier of this on my phone, in a hospital bed. A few hours later, I was in the middle of an open heart surgery that lasted over 15 hours. Complications left me in a coma. Recovery took nearly 18 months. I learned to walk again to this song. To say this song helped me through the hardest moments of my life, is putting it mildly.
