If ur going to make a roll cake again in the future here's a tip When ur done baking a cake roll it up using a clean towel while it's still hot and leave it cool, when ur about to put in the filling unroll it then put the cream in It'll be eaiser for you to roll it back since it won't break apart now that the cake got used at the curvy shape while it was cooling

This is really good looking. I do have one tip I want to give that learn from culinary school. It is best to pre roll your cake as soon are able handle. The warmer the cake you do the pre roll, less likely the cake will break when add the filling. So pre-roll, make filling, unroll, layer, re-roll, rest.

Just a basic tip when making roll cake, when you just get the cake out of the oven (still freshly hot), put the cake between two parchment papers or 2 clean towels and roll it in shape, you can then leave it there to cool and unroll it to put frosting/cream inside, much easier to roll and the cake won't break/crack

I made this for my husbands family. They are from the Philippines now in America. They said it tasted like “Goldilocks” I think it was Goldilocks. The only thing I did different was I started the egg whites first. I also let the re hydrated ube cool so it would t scrabble the yolks. My husband said it needed more frosting so I made a little more and didn’t put any on top. Thanks for the recipe.
