I've seen three feathers, Grey, white spotted black and black now at my current campsite where I'm living off the land. I say a prayer each time of greatfullness and then I see the feathers. So I’ve been really focused on my spirituality and energy and about a week ago I made a decision to change. Been going strong. I wanted to watch the sun set yesterday so I drove up to a random mountain side where there was a giant tower. (I’m exteremely terrified of heights) well I decided the view would be beautiful I had to climb it. Well I tried once and quit then I sat and meditated and told myself to have the courage. Well I climbed to the top and when I came down there was an eagle feather at the bottom of the steps. I am still amazed.

Many years ago, I knew a Native American who was called Bear Claw by his people. I swear every time i was with him I found something belonging to a bird in the strangest places, one time he was giving me a ride home from work, in the drive way I found a huge turkey feather, I handed it too him as soon as i seen it. He said it was a sign of the creators blessings or something, i tried to understand but it was confusing. Then a couple days later, I found a Red Tailed Hawk "entire animal" it was dead sadly but i called him up and asked what should i do, i know this is a sign and it doesn't look like a good sign, but he said it was a great sign and asked where it was. He went and got the animal and made an entire head dress, and it was amazing, i told him to take care of it and he died a few weeks later.....sad but very true story.

Bear claw is write. Its a blessing from the creator. I know this because i got the same gift. The first year i got the left feather, exactly a year later the right feather. Same feather same collor but now from the other wing. I was looking for 12 months but i found it on the exact day a year later. Looks like You did somthing write, or you needed this gift. It had a reason 🙏

@@ChemistryAmsterdam 1st: birds are 'partner' or 'friend' of human so when you get to see 'bird parts' that means you get connected to the native spirit / 2nd: the red tailed hawk here stands for friendship of 'BearClaw' to 'Chris Douglass' / 3rd: the head dress refers to the connection of the 'living' with the 'spiritual' so the passing away of 'Bear Claw'... remark: head dress made of one and the same bird, found no too long after it died, refers to one person in particular and imminent death

My husband and I moved to Northern Ontario from city life in Southern Ontario. He was raised up here. I was raised down there with strong connections to the land and all its glory., but only 2 weeks a year camping in tents on an island in THE most gorgeous place northeast of Orillia, Ontario. My most favourite times! I still, 50 years later, get a huge lump in my throat when I hear the loons call. I have ALWAYS revered the Loon, Red Tailed Hawk, the wolf and the horse. To me, they are VERY SPECIAL. Our northern home is rampant with hummingbirds and the bald eagles rest and hunt from a tree within sight of our house. I have a feather that I found on the ground near the tree. I've kept it, thinking of it as a gift and sacred. We are in a very special place with Blue Jays, Eastern Pheobes, Ravens, Crows, Hummingbirds, huge cedars, poplar, sugar maples, sumac, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, wild roses, fiddlehead ferns, pine, spruce, tamarac, basswood, elderberry, mountain ash, honeysuckle, chokecherry, mullein, plantain! The more I explore, the more I find! I'm learning and grounding and connecting. And feeling more and more at peace each day. I was not raised with whiteman religion. I was raised to find my peace. It has always been Nature based for me. I believe that The First Nations/Indigenous/Indian Peoples of our land had it right before whites tried to destroy it. The Native Peoples had not just survived, but thrived here, for millennia before us. In fact, they help us survive when landed our SORRY asses over here in a land we knew nothing about! The more I learn about Indigenous beliefs, the more I respect and want to learn. Miigwetch! For sharing! I am listening. Blessed Be!

I’m not native, but when I go hunting, I often come across feathers before I make a kill. The first time I found one, it belonged to a wild turkey. Several hours later, I successfully hunted a turkey which fed my family for Easter. The second time, I was pronghorn hunting and a red-tailed hawk feather blew right in front of my eyes as I was following my guide on the hunt. The next day, I hunted a very large doe which, five months later, is still feeding me. God definitely gives us signs before something great happens, and in the American wilderness, those signs come in feathers.

I have a powerful connection to the eagle, hawk, and turkey. Bless you grandfather ❤ Two eagles appeared and called out loud to my husband and I on our wedding day after the ceremony. A hawk appeared 3 ft in front of me near to the ground when I prayed to my ancestors to watch over as I performed healing work on my sister, And a Turkey flew over my head in my first garden with my husband and dropped a feather to me- I still use it in medicine work.

I was at an early age adopted into the Tuscarora tribe which are a part of the Onondaga Indian nation. The chief gave me a blessing . He said as I would be needing this blessing when I was older. I have had visions many times but I also had a vision of him coming to me with wisdom. I believe in the Native American ways. They are very wise indeed. I have been blessed.

A hummingbird came into my house many years ago. I held him in my hand ..petting him amazed by all the beautiful colors then I took him outside on a branch but he would not fly away. I was worried he was hurt and a cat would get him so I tried to put him in a cage and as soon as I tried to put him inside the cage. He flew away. Smart friend

I have always respected this man and what he says. I have heard of this tradition or the talking stick or feather. I consider sacred gifts, not for decoration. If I find a feather I see it as a san that I am on the right track or where I need to be at that time. Many birds have lessons to teach us and are amazing in many ways. I try to learn about birds and how they live. If birds build nests near on on my house,I do not disturb them and allow them to raise their young. I don't mind the clean up as I see their presence as a blessing. I allow certain plants to grow because birds seem to favor them. I also have some places of clean water of the birds and feed them during the winter. I live in a congested city but I have seen Hawks, Herons, Kingfishers, Martins, Night Hawks, Sparrow Hawks, finches, crows, robins, cardinals, flickers, Swallows, Canada Geese, Ducks, Gulls, and of course pigeons, sparrows and starlings. I am amazing how many birds live so near human habitations and congestion, yet manage and some flourish.

I found a black feather in my drill case today when working for a religious Indian(Asian) family in the U.K. I believe it may have been a Crow feather. The thing is I came out of hospital two days ago after suffering a kidney stone blockage which lasted 3 days in Hospital but ultimately I passed it naturally when released on the 5th day. I have had a major issue with ego most of my adult life and prayed to God for a release from my own ego. I’ve taken DMT in the last 3 years and experienced ego death as a result but slowly it came back which has resulted in many issues in my private life. I once as a British Soldier spent some time in the US at Fort Lewis and went on exercise on Yakima Training Ground where I noticed the First Nation burial sites. I found it unsettling that we should be live firing on land next to where warriors sleep. I said my peace and apologised to them for me being there and given the British Empires behaviour to the First Nations this was not lost on me. I wonder if in your culture what finding a black feather means spiritually?

i'm not Indigenous. i am East Indian, but i have a story about a bird. one time, i saw a yellow bird and asked myself if birds sent us messages from the recently departed. My grandma has passed away 1.5 years ago after being in life for 30 years. And, I had just read the Viktor Frankl book. Well, right after, the yellow bird started to approach me, walking across a tree trunk towards me, then it flew right above my head, and flew in a small circle two times right above my head before flying away into a nearby tree. i still wonder, 2 years, what that encounter meant. strangely enough, this encounter with the yellow bird, happened right before a severely mentally tumultuous time for me, and i had dipped int a low period where ii felt suicidal for almost 2 weeks. I had pushed myself too hard at university, neglecting sleep trying to prove that I was worthy after a disastrous few years at university. I came out by prioritizing my spirituality. I watched Eckart Tolle, and realized i had been discounting the now, in favour of a future moment where i would be maybe proven worthy. My grandma was/is a tough woman, definitely hard on her children, but still a survivor who battled much poverty and witnessed a lot f violence b/c of political discord. maybe, the yellow bird meant our ancestors' love is always rooting for us even in difficult times.

I kept finding n keeping feathers last year and was researching spiritual insight. So, Whoever, Angel I'm guessing got me to the point that I wanted to find a feather in a place where there is no way it came from a bird. I kept looking thru my house hoping to find a feather.
