Hey cherry, those little balls from the peel aren't actually dead/dry skin. They're just the product balling up. They do that on purpose because people think it's their skin. It might actually help dry skin, but those little balls are not dead skin!!
@tawnye76884 жыл бұрын
I was going to mention this as well. You can test it on a silicone type surface and it will do the same thing.

I work at the Body Shop and as far as I know the liquid peel, the part that clumbs together is the product, is not your skin... that wouldn't be good... The product sort of melts away the the dead skincells and pulls away the dirtyness in your skin like a magnet. I'm not a skin expert but that is what I know about the product... I just wanted to tell you that.
@sejbomb4 жыл бұрын
Ive used the Vitamin C peel from them and I was dubious at first that it was the product, But when you do it a second time straight after there's barely any bobbling, so it must be the skin?
@jijicat4 жыл бұрын
@@sejbomb Absolutely not. These "peeling" products aren't new and it's meant to give you the impression that something is happening with your skin ("peeling") but in reality it's just the product. The product itself might be doing some work on your skin but it's not the peeling effect you see on this video.

Ok so actually the peel solution doesn’t peel your skin. In contact with you face oil (sebum) it balls up collecting any dry skin cells you have on the way. So those little balls are in large majority your natural face oil and the product you just put on your face and a little portion of it is the dead cells from your skin. In essence this is a very gentle physical exfoliator not a chemical one as many people assume! Nonetheless it’s very cool. I own one of these too but don’t get worried that your face is going to fall off! 🙈

Yay a new favorites video ! I love the "water reminder", I need that too 😁 If you are interested in skincare, especially anti-aging products, I recommand you look into sunscreens (sunscreen is the most effective anti-aging skincare product and everyone, everywhere, should wear sunscreen everyday) and serums (I think you'll like hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, retinol...). Yesstyle has a lot of great products !

I'm obsessed with haircare myself. I've used milkshake before, but for me the color doesn't stay as vibrant (I dye my hair usually either red or copper). I've been recommended to use the matrix total results keep me vivid line (I use all the products available in that line) and it has helped me a lot. I still sneak in a subtil gloss shampoo so now and then just to be sure the color stays. My skincare mainly consist of in the morning applying a hydra boost serum and in the evening i cleanse with a hydra calm make-up remover (cools the skin).

Remember to get some salt when you drink so much water or else you will probably flush all of your salts out and that can make you really sick. The doctors actually recommend that you drink sparkling water instead of water, because it has some salts in it, especially in the summer heat. 😊

Buying a water bottle was one of the best things I've ever done. Now I carry it around with me everywhere because as long as it's near by I'll drink from it. I have two that I change out ever other day or so, and it's brought my water intake up just because I've started taking it with me every where. I find that as long as it's in eye sight and in arms length then I'll remember to drink from it.

Hey Cherry Firstly loving your hair with the Nimbus T-Shirt 😍 February for us meant a trip to Orlando, both Disney and Universal....so lovely to get some Florida Sunshine and of course soak up the Wizarding World again. Actually tried Hot Butterbeer for the first time! It really is like Hot White Chocolate. Made some last night at home in Derbyshire with Options White Chocolate, squirty cream and a toffee drizzle. Very sweet and decadent (at least Options is low Calorie! 🤣🤣🤣). We also went to visit The Polynesian resort at Disney, it is so relaxing and just ♥️♥️♥️ I think you would love it (if you get time when you go please check it out). So I'm all about the TIKI bar vibe at the moment....not so easy back home in Derbyshire 🤣 Finally, after seeing the Hagrid Trunk reveal last month I just had to get myself the Amortentia T-Shirt and I adore it, so soft and a fab design. Sounds like you had a good February. Here's to a great March...my son is acting in Annie Jnr in Bakewell at the end of the month so looking forward to that ♥️

Lately i´ve been digging in the skincare world as well and i found these amazing youtube channels i highly recommend: Skincare by Hyram, Mixed Makeup (Susan Yara) and James Welsh. Also, if you wear makeup you should do a double cleanse (aka, using a water based cleanser after your cleansing balm to really get rid of all the makeup and dirt your skin picks up during the day) and the best anti-aging product you can use is sunscreen every day. I really hope you read this @CherryWallis and I absolutely love your videos

On my honeymoon, a sales rep tried to sell a product like the body shop skin peely product you were talking about really grossed me out. 😂 And when she told me that the brand of products I use isn't strong enough, I was like "What the heck did I just let you put on me?". I'm not judging at all, it really did work, but she also over moisturized me afterward and it really grossed me out haha. Your skin always looks great on camera, so you're clearly doing something right : ). I was fascinated by you talking about your eye shadow brushes. I only have 2, but I blend with my finger and don't wear a ton of make up. I love your favorites videos.
