Very cool. I like the new pattern series... 20, 30, and 40 yards is perfect. I'd also leave it with just a 30" circle maybe. I'd also test some waterfowl loads. 🦆 🔨

Very impressive! I use Winchester High Velocity #7 Steel shot for Doves. They work pretty good for me. But... Those Federal loads have my interest now. I like to use steel shot because 'I do not want' to eat lead! Blech!! 😝

I have some Winchester steel loads but I think they are 6s that I'm gonna test soon. I've always used lead for doves with no issues. I don't think I have ever found a pellet that didn't pass through the bird

Good video. Yes I know it's a year old. Would like to add to the constriction comment. That is specifically for 2 shot. 2 steel will increase by .010., 3 steel between .007-.008, and 4 steel .005. I'm still doing testing myself.

I would not hesitate to use them... 20, 30, 40 yards is perfect... I would use the IC choke for doves... Keeping the shot inside 35 yards...

These are a teal smasher and do very well on large ducks inside of 30 yards. And a few cases of them at about 12dollars a box is a damn bargain

Would you use this ammo on turkey?

No, I would not suggest it. It would probably work inside of 25 yards, but these shells are not designed for turkeys. The big problem is that they are steel, not lead or TSS. Steel is not as dense as lead or TSS, so it doesn't carry as much energy or penetrate as well. Plus you wouldn't be able to constrict them down into a tight turkey pattern because turkey chokes are almost never rated for steel
