I want to thank you with all my heart for showing the reality of your mixer breaking down and kneading with all your might by hand as you admitted freely to specific skill sets, asked for help for what was outside yours, and just kept plugging away at dealing with "life". I have been facing a setback of my own, and something " clicked" for me as I watched you kneading. Next week, I will do some figurative kneading in my own life. Know that your work today has made a difference for someone you do not know, ME!

Kitchen Aid has a lifetime warranty. Call them and they will send you another one. Mine did the same thing and within a week they sent me a new one and a shipping label to return my broken one. It costed me nothing but a few minutes to package it up and take it to the post office.

They don't always though. I bought mine in 2017 and it started smoking this year when I was making dough. KitchenAid wouldn't do anything because it was past the first year. I switched to an off brand mixer that has more functions and works way better.

Severe Crohn’s disease patient here. I have had to cut out several food groups to include gluten. You are correct, gluten is in some nail polish, dips etc. It is also in everything we use. I think it’s awesome to cut out gluten in other areas other than food. Just a note that gluten is not absorbed through the digestive tract from anything other than what you consume in your digestive track. Meaning the nail items being full of gluten will not harm your gut which is where most of inflammation comes from. I am sure you already know this. 😊 Also, I have 10 kiddos that I homeschool, and we just read Hatchet 🪓 again, fun fact it’s a series if you didn’t know! We finished all 5 books that I read aloud! Great series.❤

Hi lovely lady! Hollow potatoes often form when young potatoes are deprived of water in the early stages of growth, then given an over-abundance of water later on. The internal structure is weakened by drought, so they pull apart when water enters the cells surrounding them. Do enjoy your camping trip - getting out in nature is definitely good for the soul! My brother and his wife (and two dogs) are currently camping in the Scottish highlands, after a very stressful year in which their house burned down. Already they are feeling the benefits, even though it's a colder time of year than usual for such trips! xxx

My favorite way to cook a roast is in my Instant Pot. I use one can of cream of mushroom soup and an envelope of onion soup mix. I stir it up and add half a can of water, then add the roast. I cook it for 60 minutes if the roast is thawed or 90 minutes if it's frozen. I let it naturally release for 10 minutes and then release the pressure, add potatoes and carrots on top of it. Turn it on pressure cook for 10 minutes more. Let it naturally release for 10 minutes and then release the pressure. It makes such a tender roast. My daughter said I've spoiled her on roast making it this way.

Do you any suggestions on how to make the walking thing work when you have all littles under 12? Live in the city ( ok a small Midwestern town but not on any kind of acreage) I have tried taking them all with but I have more than 6 kiddos so it can be challenging to get any distance in? You look so slim trim and healthy. I know alot of that is due to the personal journey your facing but you are glowing.
@JamerrillStewart4 ай бұрын
Eating the Trim Healthy Mama plan in general, helped me learn how to control the type of food going in my mouth. You can eat that plan, whether you are a city mouse, or a country mouse 😊. I do have acreage, and I’m on a private property. This means I can get out and run in the morning early while kids are asleep and another adult is in the house or later in the evening. This also allows me to walk while my children play. I haven’t done this while living in a neighborhood because I’ve always raised children on at least 2 acres. However, I imagine that if I was in the city, I would walk laps in my fenced backyard when the kids played. If I had another adult in the house at times, I would get out and walk those city sidewalks during nap time or downtime in the evening. If nothing else, I would get a treadmill pad and walk during family movie time potentially. This is all in my imagination though, and I have not lived with those dynamics. But I do know I need to move my body and that’s a big requirement for me these days. Another thing I have done in real life is I joined a gym that had free childcare for my children. Last winter when the weather was bad I took my children there. My older kids did the gym equipment or swim. My younger kids did the free child care Center. And I walked around the track for an hour. I had to drive an hour round-trip though to make that happen. Another thing that really happens in real life is when I take my small children to the playground, I will set my watch distance, but I just walk small laps wherever they are. Toddler on the swing? I walk circles around him. And even at my current property if I’m with smaller children in a small area, I walk circles around where they’re playing so the distance doesn’t have to be achieved by actually walking the length of a mile away. I can get a mile to a mile and a half in in a small space when I have no other options. I did this just last week on a rainy day when we went to the children’s museum. I got in a mile and a half walking around my youngest while he played in small areas. These are just some ideas and I hope they’re helpful for you.

Question: I just started using the gel nail for my nails because I work in medical, and have for years, my nails are brittle and tear easy. I also deal with inflammation in my colon. Does that kind of nail polish contribute to inflammation? What kind did you get. Did not recognize the kind you had
@JamerrillStewart4 ай бұрын
I’m not an expert on any of that. People have told me gluten is absorbed in the digestive track and things like nail polishes/hair products don’t affect it. But other people are very sensitive and feel they are affected by it. In this video, I removed my gel nail polish, but after a few weeks of trying to Work/cook/film I went and had gel put back on because I can’t keep up with chipped nail polish. So I’m just gonna try to not tackle that area at this point in life. 😜😜😜 hard to do it all 💗💗💗

Others may have told you this already, but hollow hearts in potatoes are caused by inconsistent watering. Don't overwater potatoes or they'll rot in the ground, but do give them water every couple of days or so in dry weather. Up that during heat waves. One clue that potatoes need water is when the leaves droop a bit. Also, when you see flowers on the potato plant, step up the watering schedule also. I hope this helps.

Hollow heart, sometimes called brown heart or sugar center, is found everywhere potatoes are grown and occurs when there is an abrupt change in growing conditions. It often has to do with lack of water causing slowed potato growth and stress, and then an abundance or overabundance of water.
