I agree, here in the US we get a daily dose of anti-China media. Big or small, one way or another, China is made to be the enemy and a dirty evil place. Personally I know some Chinese people here in the US and they are all very nice. Being a Black man myself, I was 34 years old before I lived a day without feeling racism, it was my first trip to Asia...I almost cried.

@@p_roduct9211 ok, i' ve seen some 15 Chinese series and some 100 Kdramas. Of the few Cdramas I watched the best one was "MEET YOURSELF", which was, for my personal taste, the best Cdrama ever. It is a light RomCom, where I've seen the best portrayal of characters who show kindness, friendliness, and empathy towards others. The story happens in a small Yunnan village, which is the kind of place I would love to live. Then there was "YOU ARE MY GLORY" a light romantic series, maybe I liked it because there is no ¨dramatic stuff¨, no death, car accident, murder, etc...just a sweet love story where the male lead is a genius engineer and the female lead is DILRABA, who I like both as actor and singer. The third good one (for my taste) was "METEOR GARDEN" a Chinese improved (and better) remake of the Korean "Boys over flowers" , which was itself a remake of the original Japanese series that I didn't watch. Meteor garden is a romantic story and the characters are all living in the fantastic world of advanced professiuional E-sports competitions (Computer Games). I've seen many Kdramas that I liked a lot, but ¨MEET YOURSELF is among the TOP 5 best ones among all Series I've seen; being Korean, Chinese or Japanese. I have been ¨living" around everything Chinese for some 4 years and I have watched tons of documentaries, reports, interviews, Expat KZbinrs living in China, etc, etc. Recently I uploaded a short video (a copy) showing only Chinese landscapes. Just wanted to throw something out there,It seems alot of people from the US on your video comments seem to think Asians hate black people, but thats not the case, people are just people wherever you go in most parts of the world, give respect to local cultures you get respect and a lack of it causes problems, which is where a-lot of racial tensions come from in America. Alot of people seem to also misunderstand the situation in Africa, but speak to any African that is involved or educated with the politics between China and Africa and they will tell you that while the relationship between China and Africa may not be perfect its a hell of a lot better than what the West has ever offered Africa. Leaders from Africa actually get treated with respect from the Chinese government meanwhile the West still speaks to them like children. China has been a friend to Africa since the early stages of Communist China when Mao was in power he helped Tanzania and Zambia build a railway that helped distribute goods from the ports more efficiently throughout Africa while asking for nothing in return. While the West refused to help.

US UK most of Europe media always saying how bad Chinese is it’s a envy thing China is now a very rich country and helps Africa to build itself up the US UK and Europe only abused Africa and took heir people and too many resources from the Continent as Colonisers where as China hasn’t stole its people or resources but buys from them and builds up infrastructure many Chinese in Africa as everywhere some are good some are bad especially the illegal immigrants that are loggers and gold miners. China has many African students throughout its big cities all learn Chinese they are very welcomed by the majority of Chinese people were the west looks down on Africans and Asians and doesn’t give them the same equal opportunity as China does West is very ra it’s as they were colonisers they will never really want black people to do better especially Africa as they fear they will like China become as rich as they are, even Australia which was filled with indentured British white slaves is still very racist to Indigenous black Aborigine’s and Asians the Diaspora in US UK and Europe are held back in many ways in education housing the whole system is biased against the peoples descendants of colonisation. It’s the way it is made by the em to hold back the black people and Asian diaspora are the same in many ways though it’s easier for Asians to get bank loans than black diaspora or Africans sad I wish all Diaspora would make a stand about this or move to African Continent and help to bring it back to where it was before they were invaded, Africa is rich it has every resource the West wants it has taken so much yet never puts back so It’s up to Diaspora and with the help of China to take back these resources lands and buy out the ex colonial wreckers IMO

Yes, when the communist party took power in 1949 and after New China was established, they did something called Land Reform, sharing the land with all farmers across the country. Basically, in China, everyone has an "Old Home" to return to as China used to be a farming society and everyone has a farmer family if you count 2 to 3 generations back. I also have an old home to visit each year where all our ancestors were buried. Every April 5th, Chinese people visit their ancestors at the Tomb Sweeping Festival.

I have been addicted to watching chinese related vlogs and i have not seen a rude chinese.very nice, happy and contented people. In America, this looks like a city! Fairly prosperous, multi-story buildings, modern appearance. It's not a major metropolitan area, but looks good compared to a lot of places I drive through. When we say "village" here, people might think of a dozen houses in the woods, people all related.... but in China maybe this is a very obscure place! Looks like prices are good, that football guy was making something that looked really good! Chinese Burritos, full of onions and cabbage, for two bucks? There are hundreds of small towns and even cities in the US that are way worse than this: more expensive, people living on the street, we all know this story.

@Fel awesome! I’ve said before that you have natural connect-ability 😊😊😊 You make it quite easy for people to interact with you…so they open up & welcome you even into their homes. One thing that surprised me is the “seated” toilet. Whew! So very glad to see this. My Chinese speaking partner told me I should expect “squatting” toilets across Chinese. I’ll have to fill her in.😂😅😊

Every country government has its wealthy corrupt… but the people? The people are beautiful. We must understand there is nuance and so so so many ways of living. But to have little in this world is to have the most! Nothing makes a human being more open to other human beings than humble roots. May we live with humbleness and open hearts for the stranger for the stranger is our brother! Long live China, long live brother/sisterhood.
WOULD YOU TRY THIS IN CHINA'S INNER MONGOLIAN VILLAGE?
