When it comes to the world’s greatest Silverback Hands down it is SHABANI number one!!! A great dad and husband he takes such great care of his whole troop even though Kiyomasa is growing up he still loves his son, but Kiyo needs to know that Daddy is the only one that gets the females😊😊

Les disputes entre shabani et kiyomasa sont de plus en plus fréquentes 😢. Et c shabani le déclencheur ça ne présage pas que du bon ....dans la nature kiyomasa ne serait plus dans le groupe. C la le gros problème des zoos au Japon 😢.

This stage must be the time that in the wild, Kyomasa would be living not totally separate, but on the outskirts of his family group and Shabani may be instinctually moving him there.

It is funny to see Annie try to be a peacemaker between dad and bro. She is the smallest, but dad has the biggest soft spot for his baby girl. Shabani saw Annie between them then he went another way to try to run after Kiyo. But Annie was still there, distracting dad. But as much as Shabani loves Kiyo, it is natural for son to test father, but Dhabani is the BOSS and he is not going to let another male get the better of him. It is just the way of gorillas. I too worry that Shabani could eventually hurt Kiyo, who would be heartbreaking. The thing I worry about with Annie, is that her dad has ALWAYS protected her, and she has been the princess to him. Kiyo, too, was good to her since they were little. I would hate to see Annie with a rough silverback like some of them are.

2 adult silverbacks coexisting in the same enclosure With the females around the alpha silverback becomes aggressive as he thinks Kiyo wants to steal his females Adult silverbacks only get along if there are no females to fight over as only the alpha has mating privileges

@@sonjavandam1306 probably, I haven't' followed this troop very long. I know that gorillas have their way of doing things. kinda hard to judge an animal doing its thing. It's interesting how they are all unique in their own ways.

I'm not sure how much longer this troop will be able to function. God I get stressed watching them. It's a no win situation, so creepy watching Nene follow Kiyo, cut the apron strings mom.😉
