I've had mine about a month now and I can tell you this is the absolutely best amp I've ever owned. the tone is just amazing I hate putting any pedals in front of it because the tone is so good you just don't want to Jack with it. The overdrive / distortion is just simply beautiful. This amp can do it all everything. I play in a cover band that plays a lot of Stevie Ray Vaughan Jimi Hendrix all sorts of 80's and 90's pop and rock. this amp will cover anything you want to do including that awesome Stevie Ray Vaughan tone you have been looking for.

I have both the bassbreaker 30r and the bassbreaker 45 with the extension cabinet. If you're going to buy one get the 30r. This amp is nothing short of amazing. now I will say the high-gain channel has a lot of hiss and buzz so you will need a gate or a noise reducer. I have the rocktron hush so it's not a big deal. you can get any sound you want out of this amp from Stevie Ray Vaughan ...blues ...metal... 80s rock.... beautiful clean... Country....you name it this app will do it and oh my God it is as loud as the bassbreaker 45. If you've been looking for that good tube distortion you know that good creamy sound.... This is the amp. @patrickgesner29915 жыл бұрын
Martin Bonilla it has 2 separate channels. The 30r has a dedicated distortion/dirty channel, as opposed to the 18/30 where you had to crank the 18watt side for overdrive. @@jaygiordano9489 To each their own. The benefit w this amp is the touch sensitivity. Depending on what you're playing I get your point. To my ear at least when it's a band setting w drums and bass it just seems the lush spring tank tone benefit gets lost. Or, rather for the money and weight of hauling it around is a non benefit. I am partial to delay pedals. Feel that they give that full round sound w out the challenge of getting that exact right spring setting. If money were not an object and I had a front of house tech I would be all over the spring tank thing. I get it though and most if not all would likely agree on the purity of the sound coming from a proper spring tank. At $899 though this is a steel at 35W.
