His car had horrendous porpoising and his back was hurting. He said on the radio that the only reason he didn’t quit was because of the great work the mechanic had done fixing his car to be ready for the race. So he’s most likely in a lot of pain.

That's not like Fernando. He's obviously tired but not exhausted. Something is upsetting him badly. I've never seen him like that before. Aston Martin are not competitive this year and seem to be concentrating more on 2026. In Fernando's eyes that may be a step too far away for his career.

The car had a lot of bouncing and it was hurting his back. Even other drivers were complaining. It's not just the AM car but the regulations that made the 2024 cars uncomfortable to drive.
