What a perfect video! Right on the money!! Out of 38 eggs about 1/2 were not fertilized I believe! They did not develop any at all. Took that SWESOME INCUBRIGHT Light I got from you, and all of them was all lite up inside! No dark and air sack! So this is a GOOD VIDEO for the time!! 👍🏻👍🏻💯💯

I've changed between a layer and a breeder feed from the same local feed provider. No change in laying but am getting a low fertility result. Would that be a possible explanation?

I just bought a Govee H5075. Are they accurate out of the box or do they require calibrating?
@MyshireFarm Жыл бұрын
They have always been accurate for me

If you have a cage that is 2ft. x 4ft which equals 8sq. ft can you put in 24 quail. If you use a 1 male to five hens could you have 5 males and the rest hens. I am getting out of rabbits and all my cages are 2' x 4', and I wanted to get back into quail
@MyshireFarm2 жыл бұрын
I would put 6 males in there

If you pay attention to your Quail poop tray, you can learn alot. If you see (healthy) droppings with a little white foam, that is a sign your males are at least "open for business". Just as you check non feather sexable quail by expressing this foam from the cloaca (bird winky) in males, this seminal fluid often collects on the feces of the male when they defecate. Having a regularly cleaned poop tray is essential for catching dis-ease in your covey. I'm collecting a series of B roll footage as I'm presented with examples (bloody poop may be worms or enterprise, watery poop may be coccidiosis, etc) and hope to do a video I will call "Quail Poop - the Tarot card of a healthy covey". I'd be happy to accept photos/video from others instead of waiting for my own quail to get sick, to be included in the production. PoopPics @ TullyRiverQuail.com
