Les Amours Imaginaries = Imaginary Lovers. She's a figment of that young man's imagination. That's why his friend was reacting so nonchalantly to him fighting the girl. That's why the girl appears to be staring blankly into the sky. It's all in his head.

Ver a 2 personas destruirse por alguien es algo que no se ve tan bien retratado cómo en ésta escena Dolan hizo una obra de arte del cine LGBT cuándo aún no se le daba tanta visibilidad a la comunidad

А я бы не стала так ругать Николя. У него своя внутренняя драма,своя боль , связанная с его детством и матерью. Он свои страдания , своё одиночество пытается заглушить , питаясь, как вампир, чувсвами Мари и Френсиса. Николя купается во внимании, которое ему недодали в детстве. Он играет чужими чувствами, создаёт иллюзию любви, но за всем этим скрывается отчаяние ребёнка, которого предали, оставили, обманули- это тема детства Николя. Он наказывает нелюбовью двух друзей так, как его самого когда- то наказали, насмехается над ними, как те, кто насмехался над ним и его матерью. Так что не всё так просто с Николя. Мне жаль его. Он красив, он улыбается, но очень одинок. За маской легкомыслия, за маской равнодушия и цинизма скрывается его кровоточащая душевная рана.
