Considering how many things in the game now need Poetics I REALLY think it's time that SE bumped the cap up to like 4-5k. I mean hell, 2K isn't even enough to buy a full set of gear. It never really bothered me up to about Stormblood but from Shadowbringers onwards with as many jobs as the game has to gear up it become painfully obvious that a 2K poetics cap is just silly at this point. I can't imagine that it'd be that difficult to adjust the coding to allow us to hold more and it would likely be way simpler to do this instead of needing to go back and adjust down the tome costs of what is likely hundreds of items by this point to accomplish the same goal.

But you dont need more poetics to gear up a job no matter how many new ones come out. The same gear you buy for Ninja will work for Viper, every healer uses the same set etc. And they halved the price of weapons a while back

Im so happy they changed text commands for sound to be available during cutscenes. I usually play without BGM on, but if I am doing some new content, i turn it on for cutscenes. I often forget though, and being locked out of it has literally made me skip the cutscene, drop the quest, restart the quest, then listen to it with the bgm on...

Still run into this “problem”. - as recent as yesterday lol… mind you, I realized it before I got wiped because of the music change. It’s a key / vital indicator for the super fates. I do wish they would highlight them all (regardless if they have multiple spawn locations). But, that is just me being impatient / lazy I suppose in not wanting to fly around searching for something that may not even be there / doesn’t spawn for another x amount of hours / days.

I'm also kind of sad that they didn't decide to add a new roulette and instead just rolled the level 90 dungeons into the existing 50/60/70/80 roulette for the same reward. With that many dungeons, it just seems like some separation would be for the best. For example, I think level 70 and below should be one roulette which also corresponds to the free trial and I would even toss on 30 high end tomestones to that roulette to entire long time players to do it so that those queues stay reasonable. You could then use this new name for lvl 80/90 dungeons and leave the reward the same as it is now with it giving both uncapped tomestones.

From my understanding and reading reddit posts. You now need to meet the iLvl of the highest AR you have unlocked. For example if you have ARs unlocked from ARR to SB (all nine of them), you now need to have an ILvl of 365 (Orbonne Monastery ILvl) or more to be able to que for the roulette. Which AR you get is dependent on what the other 23 queing for the roulette have unlocked.

I wanna get that free fantasia asap, but I'm thinking my best bet thanks to server limitations is to grab Viper first, try to grab Picto second, level up a bit, and when I'm ready to hop off and take a nap, grab the fantasia quest since we'll need to relog anyways for it to activate. Definitely want to start my Dawntrail as a Hrothgal so this seems like the best way to go. Though I'm getting both new classes asap I may actually go Dragoon for the main story. Not sure yet but I overall like the Dragoon changes on paper and it's been my main class since the beginning. Either way I'm excited. This is gonna be a long 48 hours.

I know the updated job actions haven't come out yet, but I really wish they would finally display the job actions at low level sync so that we don't need to personally unlock the job and intentionally level sync down ourselves to see the lowered potencies and all. Assuming nothing substantial changes for PCT, the potencies for a lot of its gcds are a complete mystery at under lvl 94... so how hard they hit for the first 93 levels will remain a mystery until launch.

The Trophie thing, Only SOME of the trophies unlocked automatically. So stuff like gathering or crafting. If you did it once on Playstation or XBOX, you unlocked all relavent trophies. But things like Ultimates, you could not automatically complete them, and thus had to re-earn on the different platforms.

I have a question and I may sound a little dumb asking this (sorry in advance) When it says "60 minutes in-game time" as somebody who rely on ingame time to gather things like many others, Isn't 60 minutes in-game time 3 minutes RL time...? So you get 3 minutes to change your mind or am I misunderstanding? I do not quite understand, at first I thought 60 minutes RL time so you have an hour to decide, but it says in-game so it's very short time?

god. What we really need for the dye system is dye storage. I have one retainer dedicated to holding all my dye and I'd really like that storage back. Also if no dye storage, at least make it so when I'm applying it to my glamour plate it takes from my retainer so I dont have to close out of what I'm doing, open the retainer with all my dye then find the dye and go back to the glamour plate.

I do two things to deal with dyes. 1: if it's craftable I keep the pigment in my inventory, not the actual dye, saves a lot of space that way. 2: basically my entire Chocobo saddlebag is devoted to dyes, of course I can only do that because I have the doubled space from the premium app.

Regarding what you said about mentors leaving the second they get an extreme... I'm sick of it as a mentor myself. I will admit that I left one extreme as soon as I queued in but that was the tenth time I had gotten that specific extreme that day with the same sprout, who admitted to farming it. I said "farm in PF, not by queuing" and left the instance cause... I didnt want to do Shiva extreme for a tenth time in one day.

It's often been grouped at least 2 raids at a time like 1/2 or 3/4 of a tier. But if I'm not mistaken I swear recently it's been multiple alliance raids in a series too

I got a mentor on my second run of the 79 leveling dungeon, I just finished my first run and the 2 other people didnt know what to do. The mentor went completely silent while I had to explain what to do to the other people and he went afk while I was trying my best to get all the mechanics together. I appreciate the few good mentors like you, you dont need a crown to be a helpful part of the team.

it's not that easy tbh. Lots of work and gil and time involved before it becomes ez gil. Once the subs are leveled enough and outfitted with the best parts then it can get items from cetain areas to sell to vendor npcs for gil.

No. Raid gear never is and never will be. the Tomestone stuff will be though, So Credendum will become poetic gear.

As someone that's been levelling an alt, the reason for the AR roullete change is because the moment you hit a 60, 70, etc. you can't do it AT ALL until you meet ilvl requirement of the tier 3 AR.
