My money maker is leveling jobs 80-90 through fates. Bicolor gemstone vouchers (100 gemstones) go for around 100k on my server. 14 gemstones per fate and it’s about 14k Gil very few minutes. Then you can level your spirit bond on your gear as well

I just started playing this past summer so I’m still learning too. Botany was definitely the best starting gathering job as everyone needs items from them for crafting. To unlock materia extraction like he’s talking about here you need to talk to the people in central thanalan at The Burn to learn about materia. I think you have to be a level 19 crafter in order to extract materia. Then any items you have had equipped and used long enough will get 100% spirit bonded and you can get a materia from it returning its spirtbond to 1%. Higher level items will get you higher level materia which is worth a lot of Gil on market boards.

There is another thing you can do for spirit bonding, turn in green items you getting from dungeon for company seals then buy Duck bones from querter master and use those in mordona to buy better crown pies they give +2 spirit bond then eaten or you can sell them for extra cash last time i saw they costed 10k each in market board and you need 2,4k seals to buy 1 pie.

Small correction, you need 3,6k seals for 1 pie. 1 Duck Bone costs 600 seals and you need 6 of them.

What I'm doing right now is lvling a dps job thru roulettes. While I'm waiting for the queue, I gather at legendary nodes to farm both materials and spiritbond. In-between nodes, I sit down and craft the materials I just farmed into the mats used for master crafts. This way I'm farming materials, crafter+gatherer materia, and dps exp concurrently. It's not making hundreds of millions in a day, but it's solid enough income that I no longer need to worry about spending gil on anything I want. After all, isn't that the main point of earning gil? To spend it on glamour/housing/mounts? 😆

Btw, you can exchange the clusters and those with any rowena's representative, not just in Old Sharlayan :) I found out a few weeks ago. So yes if you're at Limsa you can exchange those there with the Lala next to the aetheryte. Also, as for the 90 two star gear, it's most likely you will end up getting more $ out of selling the mats to make the items than making the items yourself. That is the case in Primal/Ultros, I have found leathers for example are like 40k a piece (just the leather), but the gear that needs 2 of those is around 100k. So... in this case it'd be dumb to flood the market with more gear, you'd be losing money. I have also found that buying mats to make food/potions is some times worth it. And... always remember you have retainers that can have battle jobs to hunt for your monster drops :) that's what I have to avoid hunting stuff myself, I just go mine/gather or buy off the mb if they are cheap but the hides, etc. are usually a pain to get manually. And the best way I've found to get white scrips is with the ALCH "rarefied moon gel" if you have battle retainers you can just keep spamming the same 2 retainer material hunts and do those, easy to do and no additional crafting needed, just the raw 2 materials.

You can also spam Leveling Roulettes as Adventurer In Need. You get 2 grade IX cracked clusters and 1 grade X cracked cluster for each completion, and if you go into the queue wearing low level gear (for example just a low level weapon) it will limit the dungeons available in the roulette to the low level ones, which will increase your chances of getting something fast, like the Navel/Bowl of Embers/Howling Eye. Although I can't really tell how this method does in comparison to the one presented in the video since I haven't tried the spiritbonding method yet.

This is a good idea! Also means more tomes earned for mats/gear. I was making okay gil back watching which secondary mats on the MB were going for high at HQ quality, but it's a pain because someone comes in and tanks them every few hours. I'm kind of surprised that food/pots aren't higher priced, but I guess most of the savage raiders have their own sources (I know my static does).

FYI. You can send you retainers to get Wolf Fangs for Hunting. It's faster than farming them, tested it(drop rates are not that great), I can do dungeons and send my 3 retainers to get the fangs.

I did this method the day that the crafting bubble broke, made about 8 million in about 3 hours. Now mats have gone down, so I think its probably 5-7 mil per three hour farm session.

The bubble didn't break it was sabotaged. Example if someone is selling an item at 100k each and people come in and undercut by 1 Gil or 10 Gil that is fine. That is the market fighting. BUT the day the patch dropped 30 minutes after the servers came up I was selling alkhests for 100k each and people started putting them up for 10k. There was no market battle it was pure sabotage. This happened on my server and this happened to Fur Daddy. He put up the first Axe if I'm not mistaken on his server and was undercut by over half. He had to drop his axe from 25 to 10 and that wouldn't sell.

@@jrex3 I was in a similar situation. I was the third to place my armor up, but it was 2 hours before we made our first sale on cactuar. The guy after me undercut me by over a million. yes, thats right. intentional undercut over a million. the first one sold for 1.2 mil, the first one listed was 4.8. After that, the second armor that sold was for 400k. they are 187k on cactuar as I type this.

@@LockedOnTargetShow alkhests went from 100k to 5k and could be bought for less than 2k yesterday on exodus. Grade 6 tinctures we're less than 2k for some yesterday too. To buy the ingredients to make 3 tinctures costs about as much as 2 would sell for. The lowest I seen was 1900 which means to buy it all you would have made 300 Gil per 3 yesterday.

So I went into expert with having two types of gear on me: -Normal 580 pieces with 2 X materia -Crafted 580 pieces with 2 X materia, and then old 8 and 7 materias for cheaper. The thing is I noticed I get the same spiritbond % (around 20-22%) on both pieces. So I wonder if the extra spiritbond per materia on the gear is working correctly, or if maybe it only works if you use the highest tier of materia.

I have found the same thing, and for what I've seen spiritbond items have little to no effect either in dungeons. Not sure if it's a bug or something but after SE changed how xp is rewarded in dungeons spiritbond seemed to be a roughly fixed amount (roughly 20-30%) depending on dungeon and gear ilvl. I haven't done extensive tests it's just and observation so can't 100% confirm.

Here's the huge secret about money makers. If someone tells you how to make money doing x method in a video it's going to need to be a very high demand thing or its going to immediately crash. Finding your own niche market and selling constantly out of it is more consistent and better money per hour than trying to do these get rich quick videos simply because you and everyone else who watched the video is going to do it.

If you are setup for max spiritbond in FATE parties it's pretty good too, that way you can get bicolor gemstones to sell vouchers which are like 100k each per 100 gemstones

Well it depends on datacenters- I found great success just crafting the leve-quest turn in stuff... people are extremely lazy, especially the late to the party people leveling up DoH jobs. However I just play the lord of spice atm. since It's used in all buff foods I just controll that market... sure alot of people try to get in on it, but I'm persistent the prices should not go down. Another thing which seem to be in somewhat high demand are older expansion materials and since you can farm so much of it very quickly with maxed out boon chance... the trick seem to be to limit stack sizes because people don't want to buy(or can't afford) stacks of 99 logs from the heavensward era, especially when they only need 15 or so of them. It trickle in and It's alot of reposting, but in the end It's a steady stream of Gil. Especially if you also do the timed resources.

My moneymaker has been... farming the undercutters. Find an item with massive undercutting, buy out the cheapest few, repost high. Some risk involved, so I have to be aware of demand, but it has still made me millions without crafting a thing.

Materia has been great. It's usually very lucrative for the first tier but so much so in Endwalker likely due to the influx of new players. I always shill materia & hunt trains to my friends even though they take a while and are mind numbing solely for the efficiency of getting multiple currencies at once. Great vid and I hope more people pick up on it. Materia will crash regardless during content lulls so no harm in everyone getting in on it now :)

This method won't last much longer, especially with people catching on to it. The market will eventually crash because the amount of people trying to fully meld their gear will drop significantly. And then as usual, everyone will have to find something else, which is why the absolute best thing that you can do for yourself as someone trying to make money, be quick on your feet and flexible.

I found my method is doing Treasure Hunt maps. Even brackets from ShB and StormB can make a good scratch. Cloth of Happiness for example sells for like 478k gil on my server and doing maps nets you about 600k to 1 mil if done right. Its a time sink though and usually is best to get a full group.

I farm expert roulettes, spiritbond, the materias you can get from the mobs, and then tomestone accumulation to spend on mats that you can sell. If you’re a dps you can gather or craft purple scrips while waiting. Turn those in for Materia and sell it. I have made about 2 mil in half a day doing that 😀

It wasn't because stuff was easier. If it was competition then there would have been small undercuts. The morning of the patch people were undercut by 90% of their prices. There was no fighting for an equilibrium on prices or just to beat another price. I sold Alkhests for 100k and was the only person with any up and was undercut by someone that put them up for 10k. This was 30 mins after the servers came back up. Just because it was easier doesn't mean that competition would happen at that pace. It wasn't free market practice it was market sabotage. In real life terms this is like taking a medicine that is needed it being sold for a price and then someone stealing a truck load of that medicine and selling it on the streets for a quick buck. Competition is there being a medicine and then a generic selling a bit cheaper. Tylenol vs "pain reliever" vs "hey you got some Tylenol on you? Can I have 1?". Answer this. Why sell an item required for a craft for 5k only for the craft to be made sell for 1mil or better?

@@jrex3 competition doesn't narrow its definition to suit your outrage over being undercut in a video game. the market in the game is akin to a free for all auction, so it's pointless to try to draw justifications on a system that its not based on or mirrors it in anyway. to answer your question, if it's a one-off then it could have been a missed-click by the seller, if they're babysitting the item at that price then yeah, that's them doing it on purpose.

When it comes to spiritbond gain from potions/fc buffs/food the way they add up using multiple spiritbond gaining buffs is neglible to say the least even HQ spiritbonding potions are only a very small increase over NQ ones. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time with the FC buff or food, just use NQ or HQ spiritbonding potions.

I found that stacking multiple buffs doesn't give me any advantage... the potion and squadron buff together give me just below 25% bond per run (being pentamelded) on each piece of gear... better crown pie does not push me above 25%... and taking only the superior spiritbond potion still give ~23-24% per run... so with only spiritbond potion, which is argueably the easiest buff to get... you need 5 runs anyway.. can't change that. i just spam leveling roulettes with the adventure in need bonus. you get about 15k for dungeon completion and 70-90k for the materia you get and your average run takes like 10-15 minutes. if your really lucky to you'll get a really short fight like one of the primals that takes like 2 minutes to beat. i also send my retainers out to get crystals! on my server fire and wind crystals go for about 114 gil per crystal and my retainers bring back 120 every 40mins. more retainers you have the better. if the price on crystals fall to low tho i usually send them out to gather material i can use to craft leve quest turn ins.

I just craft lvl60 and 70 gear, weapons, and accessories since most ppl upgrade gear at those lvls. Been doing this for a while. Wont make big gil each sell but it all adds up with 20-50k each item

Pretty sure spiritbond is capped, we tested in our FC with the company action and the pie with pot but spiritbond for hitting a legendary node did not change compared to just the pot

It is capped. Battle and gathering have a lower spiritbond cap, but crafting has a higher one so can make more use out of extra buffs.

Hi there! I don't know if it's useful or common knowledge, but i found this macro very useful with this method. /isort condition armoury spiritbond des /isort execute armoury This macro sorts your armory by spiritbond %, so the completed ones are at the top of the list starting left, and you only have to click and extract materia from them in order. Just my 2 cents, kudo to Fur Daddy for the useful and always-on-point video and guides! :D

It's not your or any KZbinr's fault for what happened with the market. The devs made crafting easy so easy that this was inevitable. Most people are just very bad at economics and long term gain. If they ever decide to do anything with crafting balance that'll be great. In the mean time money making is just going to have to take on new forms. It's a shame because in those first few hours after patch I made more money than I'd ever seen in the game before the market plummeted lol. At least now I'm more money focused and looking for ways to make more.

Just save yourself a trouble, get a group of 5-8 ppl and do lvl 70 group maps. Mats droping in it still sell for good gil, on top of that passive gil from chests and most importantly they drop Timeworn Thief's Map. Not a big deal but as long as you lucky on poartals you can end up sometimes with extra 10 maps done in one run for free. Just ignore lvl 80 dungeons, and lvl 90 are pointless rn since they basically drop nothing right now.

I really wish you explained more in your videos. You just basically said “you’re spirit bonding your gear, and also do hunt trains.” But what about people who don’t even know what spirit bonding does, or what it even is. Word of advice, explain these methods as if you’re talking to someone who started playing a week ago. Not like you’re explaining to someone who has played for the last 11 years. Sometimes you brush over things and are so vague and it’s as if you’re assuming your audience knows everything you do. Keep in mind, this game is massive and has sooooooooooo many different systems and things to learn. I’m 2 years and just heard about spirit bonding or whatever, and not even completely sure what it does? I’m assuming it gives you materia or something, but not sure

Best money maker was gatherer materia pre 6.05 Made around 280 million by selling gatherer materia that bots sold pre 6.0 for 300-500 Gil for 7000 to 250000 per piece 😂😂😂😂😂 Since 6.05 gatherer materia is dead but crafter materia sold like cakes 😎 .... and last night I bought 580er gear for all my retainers (a full set of 11 items only costs around 1,2 million here)
