FHP 130 MPH Chase on Florida Turnpike

On December 12, 2023, at approximately 11 am, an FHP trooper was conducting speed enforcement on State Road 91 when he observed a grey Hyundai Sonata traveling slow at 43 mph in a 70 mph zone, in the inside lane. After the vehicle passed the trooper's position, it accelerated to normal highway speed and then suddenly to a high rate of speed, reaching 130 mph.

These hot pursuits really scare me. I drive on the Turnpike in PB County all the time and use that very exit (Beeline Highway-Northlake Blvd.) many times in the month.
