This is far better to me than just weaving them in, this makes me that my ends are secure, especially after using the washing machine! I’ve had a project unwind before so I know how it feels.

Me too!!!! On granny squares where you are starting in the round amd they say work around the tail, I had the centers pull out of almost all my squares!! It was awful, after that happened I never work over a complete tail, I always leave something to knot!

Hi Courtney, I came across videos for crochet double/enclosed border (saves sewing all the ends) or making a twisted fringe on the edges, The double border is a lot more work, just thought I would pass this on as another option to deal with all the ends!!! As you know I only recently found your channel (so glad I did). Sandra💐
@Soffity4 жыл бұрын
Rainbowdays 1982 having done both- the double border might seem a lot of work but so is taking each end individually threading it thru, making some chains and more threading thru, I suppose it depends on which method you like doing better. The double border does give a lovely edging. You can also do mosaic crochet using chains instead of back loop and then you don’t cut your yarn at the end of each row so hardly any ends, however this does give a different look and feel. Isn’t it great there are so many choices and different ways of doing things.

Hi Lashawna! I just got my yarn in today, I had run out of some of the key colors to show you guys so I'm shooting that next and will hopefully get it up live tomorrow. I'm in the middle of nowhere so my internet takes 8 to 12 hours to upload even a short video!! But definitely look out for that video! 😁💜

The video just went up! I hope it's what you were needing, if not let me know so I can try again!

It's nice to see how this is done. I like this idea. Nice clean edge. A suggestion I would make is... I'm thinking the last of the tail of yarn I would just weave it in so the last knot is at least tucked under.

Hey I do the exact same thing as you to tie in my ends lol

Hey Courtney...do you remember what that variegated yarn was? I probably missed it in one of your previous videos 😁 thank you for these videos!! 🧶💕

The blues and greens and teal yarn that I THINK you are talking about is premier candy shop but they discontinued the colorway. If that's not what you are talking about let me know and I'll actually watch the video to refresh my memory lol

Fiber Fox Studios I watched the #3 mosaic video & it looks like you tied in a new color LOL So you made your own color changing yarn 😂😂

@@pamsheets2939 I'll go look and report back lol its possible I did do my own lol
@FiberFoxStudios4 жыл бұрын
@@pamsheets2939 yup you are right! I start out with Red Heart Super Saver in Real Teal then I swap over to the premier candy shop. They do have a similar one still for sale, Lollipop is a similar colorway and if you pulled out the similar tones in the color called Jellybean you pretty much would have the same color cake I used that they dont make anymore.
