I don’t know if you’ll see this or not. I just found you on you tube, I’m trying to make a mosaic afghan, I learned Apache tears pattern from another channel and was looking for more patterns to go with it when I found you. I wish I had found you first. I’m hoping your patterns will fit my stitch count as I have already made about 12 rows. I love your tutorials, you make it seem easy. Wish me luck🧶😏

Hi JC and good luck!!! I've got a video that may help you out, it's about combining different multiples into one project. I take you through the math and that will help you pick out different patterns that will work together. Here is that video from my How to playlist kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKCno3psfM-hrZY All my tutorials are separated on playlists by the multiple so once you see how to figure out which wil work you can go to the playlists and check out the different designs to choose from. Hope this helps you and if you have any questions just let me know. Thank you so much and welcome to my channel! Happy Crocheting ❤️ 😊

Hi Courtney, if I am working in the round, and just want to do pattern #2, do I do multiples of 10?
@FiberFoxStudios3 жыл бұрын
To work this in the round you can't really follow along with this video I'm pretty sure These very early Mosaic tutorials (patterns 1 to 8) were not graphed out the same as everything from pattern 9 forward. In the round you can work it in a multiple of 4. Row 1 and 2 are bk Loop sc Row 3 repeat: 1dc 3sc Row 4 repeat: 3sc 1dc Row 5 repeat: 2sc 1dc 1sc Row 6 repeat: 1sc 1dc 2sc Row 7 repeat: 1dc, 3sc Row 8 repeat: 1sc 1dc 2sc Row 9 repeat: 2sc 1dc 1sc Row 10 repeat: 3sc 1dc Row 11 repeat: 1dc 3sc Row 12 repeat: 1sc 1dc 2sc Your repeat rows are 3 thru 12 aver and over until its as big as you want. Hope this helps sorry I was at work when I saw this but I needed to get home and make an in the round chart for this to be able to tell you exactly what to do as I know I wasn't thinking of in the round at all when I did that first CAL in mosaic

Hi Lady,! Thanks for all you do! I’m wanting to continue this pattern 2 a few more times. Would I just start from the beginning again? Or is there something I should do first? God Bless!
@FiberFoxStudios3 жыл бұрын
I apologize your comment got pushed down and I did not see it! You can rewind back to Row 3 on most of these videos to keep moving up,. I believe on this one I'm joined to existing work so you would go back to the beginning. Which since it's been several days...you probably already figured that out. Sorry!

Hi I love your videos. They are eay to understand(and that is saying a lot for me,lol). I have a little problem...I thought I did pattern 2 with you and went to start pattern 3 and when you get to putting the 3rd dc in it is not lining up. Where on mine is over another dc? where did I go wrong? Help Peggy .
@FiberFoxStudios4 жыл бұрын
Hi peggy!!! And thank you!!! Is the issue that you are finding there is a double crochet in the spot where you need to do your drop? If that's the case work it like it's a front post double crochet and then continue on like normal for the rest of the row. If none of your stitches are lining up than maybe you missed a stitch at the very beginning OR accidentally worked into the side at the start if the row instead of the actual first stitch. If neither of these are your issue if you want to email me pics I would be happy to take a look and see if I can figure it out and help you. My email is fiberfoxstudios@gmail.com

How do you know when to do 2 sc or 3 sc at the beginning of the row . I don't have any problems the rest of the row. Just can't figure out when to use the 2 or 3 sc. Thanks
@FiberFoxStudios4 жыл бұрын
Look for where you need to place the first drop down dc in that row. Whatever you need to work is determined by where your first dc is going to be placed Does that help?
@RockyRacoon1234 жыл бұрын
Love this pattern! Question: If I want to start from the beginning (not add on) would I do 2 or 3 rows of sc back loop 1st?
@FiberFoxStudios4 жыл бұрын
You'll do the foundation chain and then 2 rows of the back loop sc then you will have enough space to start dropping down the dc. You can do 3 rows of the bk loop sc if u wanted a little more space at the end of your project but 2 rows minimum. Do you think it would be better for me to do each pattern as a new swatch? I was thinking it was a good idea to show how you will keep working on up but I can change it up if needed.
@RockyRacoon1234 жыл бұрын
Fiber Fox Studios Thanks! Personally, I’d like them each separate, but that could just be me. I’m thinking of using the swatches for a pillow or bag🤔
@FiberFoxStudios4 жыл бұрын
@@RockyRacoon123 pillow or bag would be gorgeous and I can do them separate I'll just have to be mindful of where I'm starting so they will still interlock together correctly.

@@RockyRacoon123 I was thinking about it when I started pattern 2 if maybe I really should do them seperate so it's no trouble. I know exactly how I'll do it. Do you have a collection that can be bought that has all the charts in it?
@FiberFoxStudios3 жыл бұрын
No I have found that people typically just want some charts not all of them so they are listed individually but when someone does want all 8 of these first ones I ever did I give them a discount code on etsy to bring the price down. If you send a message on etsy I can provide a code to you good for 1 bulk purchase on charts.
