First of all, my apologies for such a long video. After meeting with Dr. Sean O'Mara, I know that I am in a desperate battle against my body. My visceral fat, heart fat, and fat infiltrating my muscles is out of control. After the MRIs, I now have a visual of what SMA and obesity are doing to my muscles. I am implementing the strategies that were laid out in my consult and will be going back in a month or so to get another MRI to see if there has been any improvement.
Dr. Sean O'Mara has a wealth of information:

Today I started doing a 15 minute rebounder workout, which reminds me of your situation. Therefore, I will pray for you to persevere and strengthen what remains! The Lord knows and cares for you! God bless you, Kandi!

This was fantastic. Thank you for sharing your results. It must have been quite difficult for you and your husband to hear some of the discoveries made from the MRI. I love how your hubby focused on how healthy your bones are. He knew you needed to see the positives to help you get through it. He clearly loves you and has your back! Hès a keeper! Anyway, it's great that you know all this now so you can make positive change. We are all here supporting you. You've got this! xx

Beautiful bones baby!! There's something positive to focus on =) Btw, I'm also "super inspired" by this, also even more motivated, and truly impressed at your willingness to use yourself as a teaching tool. How awesome you were able to have a consult w/Sean, & deciding to share so much of this Kandi~ it will bless many, I'm sure. Speaking of ferments, the yogurts I'm making are from Dr William Davis' book "SuperGut", which I highly recommend, but the info is also available online w/out buying the book. The strains I'm using are L-Reuteri/ L-Gasserri, & Bacillus Coagulans, which some people say to make all 3 together, though I'm learning from a 30 yr veteran (Donna Schwenk) here on KZbin that making each strain seperately is better, since they compete. Anyhow, I also want to get some vegetable ferments goingm maybe some kefir too. You're so right about it being more cost effective~ buying them is outrageously expensive, imho. I do the same for "sprinting", whether I'm on a bike, stepper, rebounder, etc~ it's that 10 seconds at full speed w/time in btwn that we're looking for. Ok, I should hush for now. Looking forward to following along as you implement these strategies. How exciting to be taking charge of our health & not settling for years of half ass medical "advice" & instruction~ or lack thereof. Have an amazing week~ Sammy in AZ

I have the book! I was just reading it again today. I am going to be making the yogurt again soon. I didn’t realize it was better to make the strains separately though! Thanks for the advice. 🤜🤛

New subscriber, your story is so interesting and just know you are supported in this fight for optimal health. I can't sprint either but I do incorporate mini hiit training. 25 seconds of intensity and 30 seconds of rest for about 4 minutes. 2x a week. It is working for me at my age of 67. Plus heavy weight training slow with good form. I tell my friends it's hard work but the pay off is priceless. I am cheering for you!

Thank you so much for sharing. That must have been tough for you, you’re so brave. Ive known that I have gallstones since I was 30, I’m 58 and still have my gallbladder. I have had some attacks, very painful but if I stay low carb, no processed food it’s much better. I would imagine that my gallbladder is quite enlarged as well. Unfortunately every time I go carnivore I have issues with the higher fat. So I tend to stay low carb or ketovore. I would imagine that I have a fair amount of visceral fat as well. Your sharing has made me realise that I have to keep going with becoming healthy. So interesting with the microbes. All the very best Kandi

Your bravery sharing this, wow. I have on and off following Dr O'Mara, but being really lazy about my carnivore diet. Then i saw your scans, and i knew in my soul mine are the same. I have multiple sclerosis, ulcerative colitis, celiac and hashimotos. Despite being mainly meat, still have tons of inflammation and body fat that isn't budging. Thank you for sharing this and opening my eyes to how serious I need to be to save my health. I would love to see a video about how you make your ferments. God bless you on your journey and for rekindling mine!

I have a comment to make about Dr. Sean‘s recommendation to consume fermented foods. I started them a few months ago and then began having issues with my skin and my stomach, perhaps due to histamine intolerance. So I’ve backed off the ferments, unfortunately. I was excited to have them included in my carnivore diet.

Thank you for the information . I am fighting to lose weight and now I just destined the cravings better. Can you post your processing for fermented foods? I tried it once and it got a white skim on the top of it and I was afraid to eat it. I even talk to the USDA about it. I ended up throwing it out and if you could show what you eat in a day that would be really helpful with the new diet that you’re on, thank you for sharing

You sound like you’ve improved your health enormously, and helped others with your KZbin channel. Thank you.
