Always nice to do it right when you can. Too often I've been in the pits at the track and just zipped them back on with a gun to make it back to the next round of eliminations. Typically an engine doesn't last more than a season before coming out for a refresh. However if you plan to drive long term. Your process is by far the most optimal for reliability.

How was this clutch to drive?

Not bad. It was stiffer then factory. Didn’t like stop and go traffic but wasn’t bad. We had dual race discs and you can go one street and one race or both street that will alleviate some of that. We gained a significant amount of response and less drivetrain loss since it was 30 lbs lighter.
