I've always enjoyed watching Francisco play. That crazy water pump stroke of his is simply amazing! It's so smooth yet there is so much going on there. Most players have a mechanical stroke while his is purely organic.

His wobbly stroke always amazed me. Looks like he has no idea what he's doing LOL.

I remember when Bustamante hit the pool scene in the US. I thought holy moly, these Filipinos can play. I was always intrigued with their flamboyant strokes. I played a lot of pool in the Philippines some 30 years ago when I traveled there regularly for business. Both in Manila and Angeles City. They love to gamble. I always hoped I would run into Efren in AC, where he's from, and get the honor to play him. Never happened.

Absolute pool royalty with this one Karl!! Django and Efren made me fall in love with 9 ball in the early 2000s. Francisco has such a beautiful cue action. Loved this one Karl 🔥

There is an old school Filipino player at the pool hall I play at in San Diego who knows Bustamante from the Phillippines ever since they were kids. He showed me a photo of them when they were like 14 years old. All these old school Pinoys are so good in pool. Whenever they let me play with them I get smoked but I learn from them.

Love that he just laughed at you whenever you potted the white 😂 started playing 9 ball a bit after being more of a UK 8 ball player. Find the cut of the middle pockets really harsh and never feel confident potting into them. Was interesting that to me it looked like the first frame it was easier for Bustamante to take the 8 in the middle, but he went out of his way to get position on it so he could take it on the top bag. Not sure if it was camera angles being deceptive, but made me wonder if the pros avoid middle pockets when they can too?
