'Night 50' a "bad movie?" I strongly disagree, Dan! I loved 'Night 50!" The plotline was excellent, the editing phenomenal, and the two female leads were très chaud, mon ami! Although some fans of your filmography might call it blasphemy, I think 'Night 50' was and remains a far better feature film than 'Go-Go Motel.' The first time I watched 'night 50,' I was so bowled over that I had to watch it a second time, right then and there. So please, Dan, don't call it a bad movie -- 'Two Girls, One Cup' is a bad movie! 'Night 50," or as my wife and I call it, "Night Fiddy," was a truly remarkable film, one that every Dan Bell fan needs to see. If you call it a "bad movie" again, I'll hop on a plane to Baltimore and spank your ass raw...how's THAT for threatening you with a good time? 😉 Okay, rant is over! Love you, Dan!

Love the walkabouts with the stories of your youth. Reminds me of mine. 80s, rented a room in what can only be called a flop house. Literally a room, community kitchen. I can still smell it and I'm in my mid 50s. Something only a young person would put up with lol. No way in fkng hell could I do that today. The things we did and put up with, just to be on our own and find our way in life. We survived. No running back home to mommy. You did what you had to do lol. Glad they are saving so many of the old buildings. Thanks Dan. Love these vids.

So cool to walkabout with a true local like this. It is also a reminder that everything changes, nothing is constant, for better or for worse. Can’t help but imagine how great America could be if there was nobody on drugs, and all of that unproductive time & money & tragedy was instead converted once again to progress and to building the sorts of structures & society that these old buildings you document here symbolize.
