Lee, the reason that his metal claws grow back is because in the comics, Adamantium is able to bond with whatever its bound to on a molecular level and take up the traits of what it was bound to. That means the metal in him is able to heal just like the rest of him, and thats what makes him so dangerous. As long as his skeleton survives, he can regrow, because his skeleton still holds his healing factor.

Hi Lee, This has been explained in the comics, In the "Drowning Logan" story arc from Wolverine (vol. 5) #5 (June 2013) ,Wolverine is trapped underwater for an extended period, which puts immense strain on his healing factor and overall well-being. .Although Wolverine's healing factor is powerful enough to prevent him from dying, the prolonged submersion inflicts lasting damage. @@_vnfr In the movie, Deadpool did drown and die, but his healing factor revived him. I do get that you’re saying Deadpool might probably heal once he floats back up since he’s not made out of metal, but in the movie, he got revived underwater and regained mobility to swim back up. What you’re saying about Deadpool not being made of metal is beside the point. The theory is about Wolverine dying from drowning because his healing factor and cells can’t heal when they’re lacking oxygen. What I’m trying to point out is that Deadpool and Wolverine have pretty much the same healing factor, so they wouldn’t die; they would just be stuck in a loop of being revived, as Wolverine feared in the comics. So, Wolverine being made out of metal is beside the point

One flaw in this. You say whisky killed his healing factor because of Corn. But how do you know he's drinking bourbon? Corn is not a standard ingredient in whisky, only in Bourbon. It has been stated that his favorite whisky is Hibiki (japanese) and the japanese usually use Barley and not corn. We also see a fireball bottle in one scene in Logan, so assuming he drinks bourbon is not really suitable, since the man has taste. He'd probably drink Bourbon if it was offereras to him, but I double it'd be his first choice. TLDR Corn in whisky didnt stop his healing factor, because he didnt drink corn whisky.

don’t think drowning will work as it isn’t really a lack of oxygen that drowns but the insane amount of moisture that enters the body and cells. Even if there were a million pieces of wolverine they would still be more dense than water thus would never go to the surface and instead sink into the bottom of the ocean. That being said... Seashells eventually end up in the beaches thanks to the waves so perhaps one day one of those pieces end up on a beach and Wolverine would come back to life!!!

That's illogical Wolverine can't regrow from just pieces of meat. I mean in that sense when Wolverine is torn in half, why the two halves don't regrow themselves as two new Wolverines? His biological integrity has to do with his neuronal system too, like has been stated in other videos. That's why every time it's just _him_ who regenerate, and not each random piece of meat. That's why for several times decapitation has been listed like a way to put him off, although sometimes some edgy writer oversight that just for shock value.

Why did he survive when magneto throw him into the ocean?
@Aqua-ij3xs6 ай бұрын
First, it was a river, not the ocean so much shallower. Second, iirc, he was saved by Mystique pulling him out.

because his power isnt even pseudoscience, it's a plot-driven catalyst originating from those shenanigans with the Marvel Celestials made in hindsight to allow for greater extremes in comics. comics are locked into the emotional investment and brand recognition of their audience, unable to retcon too heavily because fans wont recognise their emotional investment and unable to start many new things because they dont have assured attention, thus assured monetary investment.

HEY FILM THEORY YOU HAVE TO MAKE A VIDEO OF THE INSIDIOUS MOVIES TRUST ME (in the insidious movies there is one thing that really confuses me. in the movies ‘if you dont know’ people can go into this dark place when they are “hypnotized” or something, they can sometimes talk to their younger self while they are in the present but the older version is also in the present. if you watch the movies i know you’ll pick it up Very easily. there is more when it comes to the “further” that is super confusing. this would be an awesome film theory video and would love to see it) ❤️

I wonder if the mutant antidote would work on Darwin(By the way if you don't know who Darwin is, he is an xman with the ability to adapt to survive).
@TheBlueKio6 ай бұрын
Darwin's ability is automatic and instantaneous. So as soon as his body detects that it's a threat/poison and his power is starting to fade, it'd adapt to it and either make it inert or not allow it to be incorporated into his body.

11:24 Your rough calculation is wrong. For simply coating the bones, you should compare the SQUARE of the height change. For binding everywhere that minerals normally go, you need to compare the CUBE of the adamantium beta fraction of the weight. The height difference (linear dimensional change) is 19%, or a factor of 1.19. The square of this is is 1.41 and cubed is 1.69. So, the original 105 pounds becomes something between *149* and 177 pounds. That is, at least 25 pounds more than you calculated.

One major flaw is you were asleep during science/biology class. While you are correct in saying there is an oxygen atom attached to two hydrogen...they're just that...attached. Without mechanically/chemically/etc... separating the molecules the human body can't utilize them. If what you're insinuating were possible, no one would drown in bodies of water.
@IDanielGarrido6 ай бұрын
the major flaw is wolverine straight up saying he would just continuously revive, so his theory is purely based on ignoring the comics. Let's not forget the wolverine that was put on the river in the movies was in the river for more than 1 day until striker took him out
@themineguy12346 ай бұрын
yeah. its just O. not O2. O2 is oxygen gas. your body cant do anything with that. so it is not a flaw in the theory, its a flaw in your knowledge
@spectated81596 ай бұрын
@@OurHeroXero I understand what both sides are saying here, but if we were to consider the comparisons of wolverine against a base human being, if all wolverine needs is oxygen in his body, he could hypothetically regenerate within the span of a few hours or days if given time to sit in the water. Afterall, while normal human beings typically need to breathe to intake oxygen, Wolverine typically regenerates without breathing that air in as, well, he's usually dead when that process occurs.
