That mic you're using in like the first 2 minutes is crispy my g! Is that the Senheiser? I might have to pick one up if that's how it sounds! I've always been kinda hesitant on Shotguns because I feel like you can cheat booming with hiding wireless mics close to the subject, but this might change my mind fr.

@@-441- thanks, it’s actually a rode video mic go ii (the one mounted on my camera). I do have a sennheiser mke 200 on my smaller vlog camera, but this video I used my a6100 and the rode mic

@@-441- the fact that people spend $1000’s on new gear is insane to me. Hell, the a6100 still goes for a grand body only here in Canada. Part of what I want to show people is you do t need the latest and greatest gear to make good content.
