Hi sir, Sorry for the long message. Just saw the latest review episode of filmyFridays. Any negative comments that the show is getting is just because of their ignorance. Ignorance on the fact that "Genius" is the only deserving term to address you. I've said this earlier also, I can only look at your life with wonderment on the achievements you made and the benchmarks that you've set. So if anyone feels that it's bragging- its just because of their insecurity. About repeating stories, there will be many like me who will keep rewatching the same episodes over and over ! Dear menon sir iam a huge fan of yours. U are a person with in depth knowledge about different subjects. U are a voracious reader also. My complaint here is about ur film ammayane sathyam. Frankly speaking I enjoyed that movie very much. But during the climax scene u mentioned about swami vivekananda to actor thilakan. U also remember it. The dialogue was like to do the duty of a police officer u need to adapt. Reading swami vivekananda s verses will not help. Sir u may be knowing it swami vivekananda has popularised the proper upanishad words arise awake and stop till not the goal is reached. Uthishtatha jagaratha prapyavaranibhothta. U know it well. U are a knowledgeable person. My request to is not make great persons like swami vivekananda a laughing stock. It will mislead young generation. No person will take wrong path if he read swamis words.salute and respect to u always sir. Expecting a reply from u sir

സാർ,രാവിലെ കൊച്ചി F.M.Rainbow യിൽ കേട്ട എനിക്ക് പറയാനുള്ളത് എന്ന പരിപാടിയിൽ താങ്കൾ പറയുന്നത് കേട്ടു ശാസ്ത്രീയ സംഗീതം പഠിച്ചിട്ടില്ല എന്ന്. എന്നിട്ടും എത്ര മനോഹരമായാണ് പാടുന്നത്. അതുപോലെ സാറിന്റെ ചെറുപ്പത്തിൽ വീട്ടിൽ നടത്തിയിരുന്ന ആഴിപൂജയ്ക്ക് ആലപിച്ചിരുന്ന"കല്യാണ ഗുണാലയ" എന്നു തുടങ്ങുന്ന അയ്യപ്പ ഭക്തി ഗാനത്തിന്റെ tune എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞതും അതുകഴിഞ്ഞ് ആ ഗാനം കേൾക്കുകയും ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ എൻ്റെ കണ്ണുനിറഞ്ഞു. കാരണം എന്താണെന്നറിയില്ല ഏഴാംകടൽ നീന്തിയൊരമ്പിളീ എന്ന ഗാനം കേൾക്കുമ്പോഴെല്ലാം ഒരു nostalgic feeling എനിക്ക് തോന്നാറുണ്ട്. ഇതിനുമുമ്പ് രണ്ടു പ്രാവശ്യം കമൻ്റിൽ കൂടി ഈ ഗാനത്തെപ്പറ്റി ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്.

ക്ഷമയോടെ കാത്തിരീക്കാം, മുഷിയില്ല, കാരണം അങ്ങ് ഒന്നാന്തരം കഥ പറച്ചിലുകാരനാണ്. അതിനാൽ തന്നെ അങ്ങയുടെ ആവർത്തനങ്ങൾ ഒരിക്കലും വിരസത ഉണ്ടാക്കില്ല. പക്ഷേ ഒരു നിബന്ധന ഉണ്ട്, അത് ഈ season 3 ചുരുങ്ങിയത് 100 എപ്പിസോഡ് എങ്കിലും വേണം എന്നതാണ്, എങ്കീലേ ഞങ്ങൾ കേൾക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നത് മുഴുവൻ ആസ്വദിച്ച് കേൾക്കാൻ കഴിയൂ. Season 3 പെട്ടെന്ന് നിർത്തരുത്. ഈ കഴിഞ്ഞ എപ്പിസോഡുകൾ ആമുഖം മാത്രം എന്ന് കരുതാമല്ലോ.

@@BalachandraMenon കൊതി അല്ല, ആക്രാന്തമാണ് കൂടുതൽ കേൾക്കാൻ. മലയാള സിനിമയിൽ ഇതുപോലെ ഉദ്ബോധക ശക്തിയോടെ സരളമധുരമായി സംസാരിക്കുന്ന മറ്റൊരാളില്ല.

ഇന്നത്തെ റിവ്യൂവിൽ എടുത്തു പറഞ്ഞ ഒരു കാര്യം വളരെ ശരിയാണ്. അതെന്തെന്നാൽ മലയാള സിനിമകൾ തീയറ്റർ നിറഞ്ഞ് ഓടുന്നില്ല. പ്രേക്ഷകർക്ക് പഴയ ഒരു ത്രില്ല് തീയറ്ററിൽ പോയി തള്ളിടിക്കറ്റ് എടുത്ത് കാണാൻ താല്പര്യം കുറഞ്ഞുവരുന്നു. സത്യമേ പറയൂ എന്ന അങ്ങയുടെ വാക്കുകൾ ഈ വരികളിൽ നൂറുശതമാനം ശരിയാണ്. Netflix, Amazon Prime, OTT Platform ഒക്കെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത് വീട് ഹോം തീയറ്ററാക്കുന്ന ശീലം മലയാള സിനിമയെ തകർക്കും തീർച്ച. അങ്ങിനെ ആയാൽ ഒരുപാട് കുടുംബങ്ങൾ അധോഗതി ആകും. ഒരു നിരീക്ഷണ പാടവം ഉള്ള ആൾ എന്ന നിലയിൽ അങ്ങ് പറഞ്ഞ ഈ വരികൾ സർക്കാരും ജനങ്ങളും മനസ്സിലാക്കട്ടെ എന്ന പൂർണ്ണ ആഗ്രഹത്തോടെ സസ്നേഹം ചിദംബരം സ്വാമി .🙏

സർ , അപ്രിയസത്യങ്ങൾ പറയരുത് എന്നാദ്യമായി പറഞ്ഞത് ശ്രീ.പി.പത്മരാജൻ തൻ്റെ സിനിമയായ കാണാമറയത്ത് എന്ന സിനിമയിലൂടെയാണ്. മാതാ അമൃതാനന്ദമയി അത് കേട്ടിട്ട് പിന്നീട് പറഞ്ഞതായിരിക്കും.

ഒന്ന് തിരുത്തിക്കോട്ടെ സർ, 1975ൽ പുറത്തു വന്ന അതിഥി എന്ന സിനിമയിലും സംവിധായകന്റെ പേര് വന്നിട്ടില്ല.... ബാനറിന്റെ പേര് മാത്രമേ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുള്ളൂ.

എന്‍റെ മേനോൻസാറേ ബാലചന്ദ്ര മേനോൻ എന്ന് പറയുന്നത് ഒരു ബ്രാൻഡ് ആണ് . അതു ഞങ്ങളുടെ കോളേജ് ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഒരുപാട് ആസ്വദിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് . ഇപ്പോൾ അതെല്ലാം ഒരു നൊസ്റ്റാൾജിയ ആയി മനസ്സിൽ തങ്ങിനിൽക്കുന്നു. സന്ധ്യക്കെന്തിനു സിന്ദൂരം , കാട്ടാറിനെന്തിനു പാദസ്വരം എന്ന് ചോദിക്കും പോലെ താങ്കൾക്കെന്തിനാണ് ആത്മപ്രശംസയുടെ കാര്യം. പ്രശ്നം ഗുതരമൊന്നുമല്ല. കേൾക്കാത്ത പലശബ്ദങ്ങളും വരും കാര്യം നിസ്സാരമായി എടുത്താൽ മതി ഈ ഫിൽമി ഫ്രൈഡേ അമ്മയാണേ സത്യം ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒരുപാട് ഇഷ്ടമാണ് അവിടെ പക്ഷെക്കു സ്ഥാനമില്ല. സ്വർഗ്ഗവാതിൽ തുറക്കുകയും സ്വപ്നലോകം വിടരുകയും നല്ലവർക്കെന്നുമെന്നും നല്ലകാലം പിറക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. പടടി ആലീസേ എന്ന് പാട്ടിലുള്ളതുപോലെ മേനോൻ സർ കഥപറയൂ ആ മണിച്ചെപ്പു തുറന്നോളൂ ഞങ്ങൾ ക്ഷമയോടെ കാത്തിരുന്നോള്ളാം
