It's very popular and I believe they are having trouble keeping it in stock. I'd try the other GWTR warehouse option as they say that Waterhouse is more frequently stocked. Processing time and shipping time are 2 different things. Likely the long processing time is estimated by when they will receive new stock at the specific warehouse. Hope this helps 🙂

I live in a rainforest. (the oldest rainforest on Earth, in fact.) And I ordered a Fimi X8 SE 2020 TONIGHT. You have no idea how happy the title of this video makes me. (edit) I read a lot of people had supply and shipping issues. I bought mine off Banggood during their summer sale so the supplier was prepared for a rush of orders and had plenty of drones ready to ship. I've just checked back on my order less than 24 hours after I made it and tracking shows it has already been packed and has shipped from the warehouse to the container ready for international transport. I paid a little extra for express shipping and should have mine within 10-14 days. (I live in a remote rural part of North Eastern Australia.)

Good choice John. The 2020 version should be better and I'll be doing similar reviews to compare. This one I took in the rain is absolutely fine. Dried it out at home for a few days of coarse and it's perfect. 🍻

Don't do this with a spark, my spark thought the clouds / fog was ground and tried to land 100m above the ground! I managed to go up and out away from the fog. Scary stuff! Nice footage !

Hi Dustin. Bought my first drone, an X8, after watching your videos. Incredible machine. Question - when I try to record video I only get short bursts recorded as if there is some limitation on the length possible. With a 4k setting into a 64G card (U3) I get a few seconds and then it starts another separate file. Is this a user setting ?

That's strangely short. I'd try another card also. But yes check the video settings.

The card was the problem. It was a Samsung 64GB Evo which was U3 spec. Swapped it out for a 32GB Sandisk U3 and it now runs fine. Footage is stunning.

Thanks for sharing this footage. May I ask which one is better at usage (controller sticks) and also the video quality if you could compare with Xiaomi Mi 4K model? I think you both used them so you may comment on it? Thanks again.

Both very similar in control and very precise. Video is more crisp to me with X8 likely due to 100Mb capability but still a slight blue tinge that could be edited on post processing. I would choose X8 over Mi 4K imho 👍

As a complete beginner I am more aiming for the more expensive DJI series as they have more sensors. Would give me a safer feeling when flying... :-D

For me the main reasen to buy a drone is traveling and do some nice videos from the hollidays. I prefere the x8 because of the awesome videos, the range and the battery but the Anafi is way smaller what ist defenately better for traveling. Which one would you prefer?
