Hi! Love the content, truly appreciate you. I know this channel is about video games. But I would looove if you could do a vocab video on a ghibily movie, I think that would be very interesting, and something everyone have definitely watched before. Preferably ocean waves. You don’t have to cover it all obviously.

I just started playing FFVIII and got stuck on ~たところ, which I had seen in Monster Hunter Stories 2 as well. Then I remembered that you made this video and your ところ guide! Thanks for your hard work.

Your videos are not only perfect for learning Japanese but also they are perfectly timed for exercising while doing so. Just did 1h strength training which I normally despise. Thanks so much haha. Also here's my vote for more Final Fantasy 8 content (it's by far my favorite game and you will probably always get my vote for that lol).

Thank you so much for making this video! I grew up with FF8 when I was a kid and is probably my favorite in the series after playing FF1-10. Now in my 30s it’s a great way to brush up on my Japanese (N4 atm). This is my new favorite channel on YT! ❤👏🏻🙌🏻

Go back to where it all started and what roped me into your channel - FF7 Remake! Those first videos motivated me to actually start my journey of learning Japanese.

I'm definitely interested! I just gotta figure out whats better, A. Start from Chapter 5 after the last breakdown B. Start from Chapter 7 since the last movie C. Start from Chapter 8 with aerith because its the most interesting. Thoughts?

@@GameGengo I think starting from chapter 5 would be best since you would be starting from where you stopped. I know that skipping to the most interesting parts would be optimal but some people like myself were playing and following a long just to make sure we were getting right and to get addition info on the concepts. And I'm sure the following chapter will be even better since january(I think it was the last upload) you improved you quality overall. If I remember by the latest chapter it was even color coded which made reading so much better(I use *Immerse with migaku extension* for my anime immersion and the subtitles are color coded by vocabulary I know, Vocab I don't know and the words I'm still learning.)

@@GameGengo ideally continue where you left off, although there is a lot of filler, I’m sure viewers will still learn heaps from it, and that’s the whole point right?

FINALLY getting around to watching this (and the previous FF8 episode). Great work as always! I gotta say, I spent so much time only consuming material that was "at my level", but deciding to jump into things like Final Fantasy has been probably the most fun I've had gaming in Japanese, which has in turn resulted in the biggest gains for me. Can't wait to see what you do for the next vocab video!

It's been very interesting to watch! Would be great to see some videos on the visual novels, for example, Ryuukishi07's works (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Umineko no Naku Koro ni) or SciAdv series (Steins;Gate, Chaos;Head, Chaos;Child)

I would love to get into some Visual Novels! Thanks so much for your recommendations! If you could pick ONE to check out first what do you think would be your recommendation?
@GeorgAnkar
@GeorgAnkar 2 жыл бұрын
@@GameGengo Well, my personal favorite is Umineko, but it's also one of the longest VNs in history :D So maybe it would be better to pick Chaos;Head, a much shorter one, instead.
@GeorgAnkar
@GeorgAnkar 2 жыл бұрын
@@GameGengo There are other relatively short and great VNs I'd recommend, but they have a notable amount of H-content (like Saya no Uta, for example) :D
@adamw2342
@adamw2342 2 жыл бұрын
@@GameGengo Out of the listed VNs, I would go with Higurashi. Personally, I enjoyed Steins Gate more but it can get very technical with its vocabulary (science, space and time travel related).

For the next Vocab video (or #11) I need to see you play Beavis & Butt-Head: Virtual Stupidity. I've seen a bunch of clips from that game on your channel already and I just need to see that. I get the impression it would work really well as a second 関西弁 video too. Beavis & Butt-Head: Virtual Stupidity

megaton musashi is a switch game with furigana everywhere (even in the menus) and has voice acting plus an encyclopedia with information on all the characters, enemies, etc. It could be a good game for the series.
