Days was my first ever kingdom hearts game. It gave me such a massive connection to Roxas and Axel and seeing them fight in KH2 was so brutal. Imagine my surprise when Sora wakes up after the KH2 prologue and Roxas wasn’t the main character anymore! I was so confused.

@@stephenthedude4383 by the end of KH2 I was glad Roxas was able to confront Sora and come to terms with what he truly is. I had also fully fallen in love with kingdom hearts as a franchise and 2 remains one of my top 3 video games of all time. I also really love Namine and Roxas’s relationship and the way that they are together when Sora and Kairi are together. I wish they had more screen time in later games but I feel like KH has sort of forgotten about the relationship those two characters had.

I really enjoy hearing your analysis of the characters and the stories. I was a lot younger when I played the games and I don't think I made these connections. Watching letsplays where you descibe your interpretations really inspires me and connects the story to my own life when I couldn't in the past. Thank you very very much! I wish I could give you and the kh fandom a big giant hug. We've gone through so much in our lives, I'm glad we have something we have something to unite us and comfort us....even when the comfort encourages us to confront hurt.

8:13 - To be fair, there are more crying scenes in Kingdom Hearts than there are in the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy. You start to get used to them.

Never played Days personally, but I absolutely adore what they were going for in this entry in the series. I did have a friend point this out to me the foreshadowing in one of the sunset scenes. The one where Axel is explaining why the sunset is red because red light-waves travel the farthest. Of the three of them, Axel lives longest as himself

Kh days was my first kh I got stuck at a tractor boss so I couldn't finish it but I did watch this and I cried AND I HAVEN'T EVEN PLAYED KH 1 Watching this felt like meeting a new friend a Watching him struggle and not do anything to help I just wanna jump through the game and tell everyone everything

I mean, the Wayfinder Trio had it bad to but the Sea Salt trio... they broke me. I think what *really* sets this trio apart from the rest is the fact that you literally had a whole game devoted to spending every single day with this group of people who were legit friends. the Wayfinder and Destiny trio are one thing, but they didn't have as much screen time dedicated to their friendships. We knew these guys were friends but really, we didn't feel it on the scale of this group. These three had a game dedicated to having you see Roxas, Axel and Xion become close friends only for the powers that be to rip them apart with one being forgotten entirely and the other losing his memory during his last 7 days. Like, *god damn* was the sea-salt trio heartbreaking.

You think this was sad imagine playing this as a 12 year old thinking that it "must have a happy ending since Mickey is on the cover 😃" I played the game, got to know each character of Organization 13 with every mission I went on only to mourn for a straight week upon finishing it 🙃 Kingdom Hearts 358 2 days quickly became a beloved game to the point that I got a sea salt ice cream shaker/charm that even has a winner on the stick ❤❤

I hope you enjoyed the game also making you sad as well as the manga version. I always found the game version to be the better version because it gives the player more time to get to know the three and bond with them. That way when the painful parts happen, it hurts so much more. This game might not have the best gameplay from the series but it’s one of my favorite, probably right after KH2. Helped make Roxas my favorite character (sorry Sora)

I was already big on Akuroku and Soriku by 2 - in fact, part of my gay awakening was Axel and Roxas interacting in 2's intro - and getting all this sweet development for my favorite ship was just... ugh.
