I really love Cloud and Tifa's relationship, especially in Remake/Rebirth they just seem alot closer and more dependant on each other. You know what I like about their relationship? They respect each other's boundaries and let the other come in if they want to. There's no need for hand-pulling and being insistent on going on a date(s). Because of my personal values, that's why I prefer them over the other couple. With Tifa, Cloud cannot always be passive. At times, he has to come out of his comfort zone and make the first move if he wants to stand any chance with her. I'm glad they scrapped their OG date which I find pointless and actually gave us this instead. I like slow burns, but the OG one makes me feel like there's no progression in their relationship until the lifestream sequence and Highwind. REMAKE has a good pace.

Kissing on the cheek do not require you to close your eyes,so it is on the lip. To have this scene I think are because in the later part they both will have the scene more scene together and more romance ,in order to make more reasonable this kissing scene is a must. It not what fan service. Part 3 the other girl will have less part i guess that is why this time she get the most play . SE always balance both of them. But i love tifa and hope she are happy. I really appreciate the writers for acknowledging Cloud and Tifa's bond here. To all my Aerith fans, thank you for being so accepting of this moment. If Crisis Core did one thing right, it was showing that Aerith's true love is Zack. Cloud is a reminder of that and in their date sequence in Rebirth's timeline, it's on full display. The writers nailed this. It couldn't have been done any better. They masterfully included the entire FFVII compilation and let us all have our moment in a new timeline.

They’ve just decided for us huh? Since Crisis Core and FFVII Advent Children. I always go with Aerith in the original game. However, even I admit in this one, they want you to choose Tifa. The date with Aerith on my play through felt forced. Almost as if she’s only into Cloud because he reminds her of Zack. She also implies he’s not completely whole as Cloud (foreshadowing Cloud finally being complete later in the game when Tifa connects his memories together in the lifestream). However, with Tifa, Cloud actually flirts back. With Aerith, he almost acts like he doesn’t know how to act, or can’t believe she even likes him. I just wish the writers truly gave you autonomy to choose who YOU like best. And make either outcome a good outcome.

I'm beyond confused how she was at second place when I even chose Barret's route in the cart minigame. Hate is a pretty strong word. Back in 97 I felt she was too forceful with Cloud and I have issues with women that come on way too strong so go figure I really didn't like her at all. It took me well over a decade to whenever the PSP Crisis Core was released and I was finally able to see her in another light. She wasn't as I remembered, but someone coming into their own and experiencing the feeling of falling in love for the first time. It was beautiful. So I suppose I have done a lot of growing up along with this particular series and I think I am grateful for it. Do I dislike her now? Not at all. Actually, I adore certain parts of her personality now. Yeah, there's still something that nags me whenever she boldly states that she and Cloud were late because they were on a date right in front of Tifa all while she contradicts it by encouraging Tifa to make a move on him. Other than that, .......yeah. I think Aerith is pretty cool
