I honestly always loved Khu's riddles. They were sometimes really awful to try and sort through or figure out, but it always made me excited and made me want to know more. I don't mind leaks that straight up give you info, but as Khu said in one of his latest tweets "I bet that the more you know about the new concept thing, the more bored you would feel, then you just end up living in emptiness before the launch." It doesn't leave anything to the imagination if you're just given info, while Khu really wanted to keep us hyped up and interested.

I absolutely take Khu’s riddles over straight information any day. The later unfortunately just feels like spoilers. There’s far less hype to it. You’re given the answer, you’re glad for a hot second, then you just move on. With riddles, it’s a problem to solve. It stays on your mind, keeps you thinking. Much more fun, I find.

What if its not regional fakes but instead its actually "research(ed) fakes". They come about from scientists trying to unravel dna of different pokemon but they mess up or dont get it right 100% so it creates mons with slightly different appearances and types.

Regarding that "time warp" bit, that's probably how Hisuian forms and potentially Hisuian evolutions if any are in the game at all would be able to exist. Also this is probably what Khu was refering to with the lake house picture since the main plot of that film involves time travel to a certain extent

Oh, remember "The Lake House" what if the crystal is a "Time Crystal" (which ironically is a real thing). Maybe during battle or in the overworld, a Pokémon can use a Time Crystal to access a new form (or expose a Pokémon as a RF). You'd send the Pokémon to one time (past or future) and the mail (your pokemon) would return altered by the journey.

After all, there was a Fletching decoration in the first town of SwSh, despite that Pokémon not being in the game until the DLC.

They had that time capsule trading in Gen 2 back to Gen 1 explaining they can trade through time. Then in The 2nd trailer they showed trading between players and then added that tease at the end where a single poke'ball similarly looks traded but through a crystal veil. Maybe you trade with yourself to achieve this "time warp".

Pokemon time traveling is basically what happened in Legends Arceus with time space distortions. Maybe gamefreak is bringing them back somewhat. I like the idea of regional fakes being faulty or "gone wrong" versions of real pokemon. So like magnemite that lost its magnets, sudowoodoo that faked being a tree too well that it became a real tree, tediursa that ate too much/wrong kind of honey and turned into a bug type.

Khu told us that GL's have special roles/jobs in this game and that Gamefreak has added new features to support the whole open world idea. In order to FEEL open, and more like the anime, I think it would be fun to 1) Find the GL somewhere in the open world outside of their gym 2) Complete a special event before you can battle them, whether it's tied to the main story or just a random Pokemon (think Ampharos in Gen 2) 3) In the post-game, these GL can be re-battled and trigger event legendary side-quests. Or side-quests for money and rare held items. This is all I can hope for in a Pokemon game. It makes the game longer, gives the GL's more meaning, the story gets more exciting, the game gets funner to grind, and overall the game becomes replay-able!

the magnemites could be like a positive and negative version - that seems super cool and explains why they are attached to each other and are different colors i also think this crystal-like gimmick could be some sort of armored evolution type thing. that last picture of quaxly's evo seemed that it had some sort of layer/armor. honestly not sure but armored pokemon(giving a third type) could be a really cool concept

Trainers can't do the time warp? It's just a jump to the left & a step to the right, put your hands on your hips & do a pelvic thrust that drives you insane. Not all Pokemon have legs, hands, or hips, so I highly doubt all of them can do it but I know I can. Jokes aside, I went on a long winded rant this morning on how I hate when we're just given the leaks, I love to speculate, WORK for the information unless it's officially given out! A hippo at the zoo is bored if you throw fish at it but gets excited & has something to do when the fish is frozen in a block of ice that it needs to work on to dig out, I want to be an enriched zoo animal, not to have the fish simply thrown at my face. Regarding the region name, if we are to believe Gen 9 is indeed based on Spain, then there is a high chance the name "PDY" Khu hinted at (And also Kaka teased with the Japanese kanji) might be named after a town in Spain I know called Pasaia which is a harbor town much like some of the places teased in the official trailer of S&V and it may or may not be called Padaiya which works with what Khu said when he said it'd be obvious if we put in the vowels.

They aren’t making new eeveelutions because they all follow a pattern. The pattern is that they all were types that were considered special before the gen 3 split where moves were physical or special based on the type, not the move. This means we probably won’t get any new eeveelutions, unless we get some sort of regional eevee or something.

Time warping pokemon like sending my water pokemon in the past to "water" a sapling so that a tree would appear in the present and maybe sending a bug or grass pokemon in the future to harvest berries and that would just be the interaction with a tree. Think of the possibilities!

i'd rather speculate like riddler khu makes us do than just straight up get the information, it leads to a better, more fun hype season. you have all these people coming together to work on a riddle or discuss their thoughts and feelings. remember s/m's trailers? literally everything got revealed through leaks and trailers so when we finally got the games they were more disappointing than they already were. there was so little extra to discover after the fact.

I believe the gimmick is going to be any Pokemon can enter a “crystal” form where they will have glowing parts, look more reflective and bright. And certain Pokémon like the amoonguss we saw will have actual form changes. And this is the “mega-like” feature khu was on about, itll boost some stats or allow the Pokémon to use new moves that might be “special” types like combinations of other types
