There's multiple "Easter eggs." The toy with the planets on it (in the bedroom) has "Finch" written on it. The painting of the 2 boys on the wall is from What Remains of Editch Finch as well (plus the Bigfoot poster, of course)! I don't think it's an Easter Egg, but stolen assets moreso.

Trauma, disassociation, and derealization is a hell of a time lol. This game was pretty cool though. I wish more horror games would have stories like this. There was at times a bit too much going on, but honestly I could relate to that feeling of everything happening all at once all the time. This gamed fucked with my head in a very specific way (the scenes in the basement / when the astral was shifting the character in and out) but still fun. Gave me a lot of classic indie horror vibes.

Have you tried "Hellblade: Senuas Sacrifice"? It does a pretty decent job of portraying psychosis and the hell it can drive within. Strong recommend if you haven't tried it.

PLEASE READ: The note that said, "Something unknown scared me, I was afraid of non-existent monsters and it was just my imagination. I didn't want to believe that my mother was the real monster". This struck a cord with me. It's something that others may not realize, so I wanted to point it out, but this note, this experience described here from the point of view of an adult gaining greater understanding of how his childhood self perceived things. This EXACT statement is very real. As a survivor of childhood abuse from my mother, someone who also was disabled and had many undiagnosed psych issues, I had the same experience described in this note. I distinctly remember a period of time when I was afraid to go to sleep. When I would go to sleep and would be facing towards the wall, with my back to the room, I would get this deep fear within me as I truly believed that if I turned over to face the room, that a demon would kill me. Now as an adult diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety and OCD, I now see that this was a manifestation of my fear of my mother. When you're in survival mode and that is all you know, you can't understand that until you experience otherwise. It's crazy, but a very real experience that people have. Incredible that the game devs included this detail, whether they intended to be this strikingly specific or not. Bravo honestly.

I love how thorough you always are! This is the third playthrough of this I've seen, but the first to show the very end. The other two ended after the credits without exploring the station again. In the carnival part, I think the clown was bugged. He normally walks a set path where you have to avoid him, and chases you when he sees you. As for the knife, it was there, but you didn't have your flashlight on the first time. I believe that form of visual impairment is called Arin-itis 😂.

It's pretty messed up because he was kidnapped once when he was very little by some crazies posing as his parents, then after he escapes them he's kidnapped again by a psychotic clown. The atmosphere is great, it would have been perfect if they'd perfected the A.I. in the amusement park section.

@@FallenAngelHiroko The "Mannequin" looking lady was one of the crazies posing as his mom after he'd been kidnapped, according to him he said the "father" had died early in his life and that's when the "mother" starting acting even more bizarre. After he'd killed her and put her body in the basement he'd gone to an orphanage and then he was kidnapped again by a psychotic clown who would make him find other children for him to snatch away. That's at least what I gathered from what the main character had said.

unpopular opinion: I like when games do the changing rooms thing & have chaotic energy. Lol It might be annoying to play, I’m not sure as I’ve never played a game that does it but. The first Layers of Fear is one of my fave games that do it and idk, I just love it but like I said it could just be fun to watch and not to play. But now that I’ve finished this one, let me go watch the Summer of 58 one since she said it was better Also I could listen to Dutch all day. Know you don't really play FNAF, but have you seen the recent trailer for Five Nights at Freddy Plus? It's surprisingly tense and makes great use of creepy atmosphere vs the typical jumpscares you expect from the game.
