New Zealanders are not use to small cramped living spaces and pocket sized gardens. It’s a mindset that we have to adjust too. Houses that Poms think are large are very small compared to our Kiwi homes. It took me a long time to adjust to housing in North America.

Why on earth choose a beautiful Georgian city like Bath ( near to where I grew up) They obviously have no clue about architecture and they would have driven me mad. Many of the houses would be worth £600,000 in today’s market. I would suggest they move to another area with a characterless square house- they like nothing !

@Taylor they were shown Georgian houses that were beautiful . They didn’t understand what Georgian meant and clearly had no taste . The ‘ modern ‘ house that was shown was not not architecturally modern by Antipdean standards they would have been used to . I know , I lived in a Georgian House in Bath and now live in NZ. They admitted they didn’t know what Georgian entailed . Read all the other comments here . Everyone agrees.

Hello. This is a real long shot but I’m hoping someone can remember this: I am searching for a Location, Location, Location episode featuring a couple looking to move to a place in the South. From memory it was a smallish village somewhere above Brighton (ish). I distinctly remember they were looking to move there as the schools were fantastic and Phil wholeheartedly agreed. I looked at properties there about 10 years ago and it was too much of a clique - Bristol was a way better situation and I made £100,000 there and a much better city as you can just visit Bath n 15 minutes and not have to live near to the awful neighbours
