Thank you for such a well laid-out video! It must have been a labour of love. Many teachers take an empirical approach for why the x-coordinate turns negative, but your clear explanation makes it so much easier to understand. I'm still perplexed as to why the value outside the brackets is first squared then subtracted. NVM- you probably have the most under-rated KZbin maths channel. 😊
