I don't think you can compare that. I belong to the older generation that was around when Freddie was still alive. I grew up with Queen, saw them on every step of the way, exictingly waiting for every show, every tour, every album, every interview. I loved them back then and I do love them today, even more so after over 40 years. We saw Freddie's decline from video to video in his last years, we were and still are heartbroken over his death. I will never forget the day he died. The pain is still there but also the love for this wonderful human being and that will never change. I'm glad that new generations embracing him, Queen, the music, the way we did back then. And I hope the people who discover Freddie now will love him 40 years and more , too. He deserves it.

Hi Richard. I did a search because I was curious, as to how many cats, Freddie. Mary had got 2 cats, Tom and Jerry, and Freddie fell in love with them. Then he got 8 more eventually, and they were named, Tiffany, Dorothy, Delilah which was his favorite I heard , Goliath, Lily, Miko, Oscar and Romeo. And it's so very precious that they each had their own bedroom at Garden Lodge. That is so very sweet. They were like children for Freddie in a way. God Bless Freddie. Thank you very much Richard.

oh not only now but always people were fascinated of Freddie. and him being still loved this much today is also another proof of his timeless genius and the real love and fascination people well deservedly feel about him. and how sweet, unpretentious and selfless of Freddie to say to Richard , `we all know how i look darling, make sure to take the view of the crowd`..here`s the man who always gave his heart and soul to his audience and performance until his last drop. details of showing and proving this are written all over in his face actually but also his gestures and all what he said or did. and such details shared by others who knew him well definitely emphasize such too. this is the real Freddie all need to know. stay away from the liar movie and try to get to know about Freddie from himself and from real trusted people or friends.There are plenty of documentaries and real good sources online if you research.please do. this wonderful man deserves to be known and celebrated for his wonderful character along with his artistic genius. Thanks to the channel for highlighting what is the core of Freddie, keep on the great work guys, much appreciated.
