Wish I could give this a trillion likes Jesus on the cross thirsty , thirsting for God and God turned away. Jesus endured that agony for you and me. Oh what a savior

I bursted into tears while listening to this. Jesus is so perfect. He is my desire. WHY ARE YOU DOWNCAST O MY SOUL!
@rebanelson6073 жыл бұрын
Amen! Suffering causes the soul to be downcast but Jesus has gone before us and prepared a way through the wilderness of this world.

The beauty in the balance of Christianity is to be adored and adopted! Thank God for this message through Tim! 🙌🏾

These are timeless messages...the Word of God is timeless, everlasting and powerful today and forever. I needed to hear how we get through a season of mourning and suffering in my marriage.

Romans 8:24-25 says "We are saved by hope. But hope that is seen is not hope. For why... hope for what is seen? But if we hope for that which we see not then do we with patience wait for it." We don't SEE Jesus right now but still we HOPE in what he did on the cross. "I dare not trust the sweetest frame but wholly lean on Jesus' name." Emotions connected with faith can be a sweet but deceptive "frame" and become a crutch. They WILL disappear at some point. The Christians in Afghanistan right now probably are NOT experiencing joyous emotions. Please remember to pray for their strength and steadfastness. May the Lord bless Pastor Keller for sermons like this that bless and strengthen us all.

Dr. Tim Keller instructs in such a way that clarifies and gets to the heart of the matter so that we can worship God instead of ourselves.

"The scandal of the Cross is that it is so foolish. God, the infinite Creator, becomes a perfect sacrifice for the sake of a twisted human soul. He not only dies, but does so as a public spectacle of shame." Dan Allender ~ Bold Love.

But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Evidence of this is some rap video on youtube gets 100 million views but this has less than 10,000.

what on earth is that noise that appears at 35:37??! Is that the sound of car tires, screeching or a person howling?!

Can’t stand when someone judges a man by his politics. John MacArthur has some strange ideas anyway. Believes women were meant by God to stay in the kitchen. Smh, Tim Keller is one of the great voices in the 21st century
