this is one of the few places I don't think I would take him just because it's so much of a hike off the beaten path. It's not the safest place to take a small kid. When he's old enough we'll start doing things like this!

I just got back from 4 days of south Florida fishing and I caught everything from peacock bass to tarpon and beautiful Florida strain bass. I’m moving from cali to over to south Florida it’s a fishing heaven. Currently editing those 4 days of fishing. It’s truly going to be a hub for me since I’m going to be traveling all over the world for fishing and Florida is a perfect hub since Miami is the cheapest airport to fly out of in the entire u.s.

I'm from Florida the fishing is wonderful you have your job line though the punta Gorda is pretty is airport I flown in from Iowa it cost my a100$ 125$ I'm in Naples Golden gate City I walk around to the canals all the time pea cock and bass there's a whole lot cheaper than going saltwater fishing

@@rickfurey74 hey thanks for the info. I'll be checking that out. I'm not just in love with the fishing though. It's the culture the diversity the people the food the environment the vibe. In short I could not find one reason that I didn't like but looking at my legs and how ju h I got tore up I'd say the bugs is the only con but nothing bug spray can't fix. Also most people hate the humidity but I cannot for the love of God breathe out here in California and the humidity allows me to breathe better. So it gets super duper hot in the summer that's ok a long sleeve a neck gator and some gloves can remedy it no problem.

Was in Florida last week. Couldn't fish places like you in this vid but did hit little community ponds for 1-2 hours each morning and slayed! Seven 3 or 4 pounders plus countless little guys in ponds one square block, and as many people asking why I was fishing there. It seems, at least compared to my NJ fisheries, FL just has so much quality water residents must overlook much of it.

I know exactly where that is.. but its funny because they charge alot and it has to be guided to fish it. But i guess if you know someone you can get in unguided.. ive been trying to get in there to film or just fish but first its 720$ for a half a day and guided only. Brian I live close to you in western NC. Have you ever fished Lake James? I used to be able to leave my house and have my boat in the water within 10 minutes. One of my favorite lakes

Private lake? Live in Central Florida - fish all over the state. Most of the areas like where you fished in this video are off limits to the public. Be careful about leaving your hands in the water after releasing fish - alligators have adapted to going after the fish once we release them.
