It's a European language, idk why Americans make seem spanish as super "ethnic" like native and stuff lol when people from Latin America speak spanish but with a different accent than Spaniards, that are European just like Americans speak with a different accent than British, and why is it spanish specially seen as "less European" when here French guyana speaks clearly French, Brazil Portuguese, Suriname Dutch, then u guys have to make those languages less European or more "ethnic" why is it specially spanish? You guys really hate mexicans there lol bcs that the only possible explanation

OMG these translation are horrible and bias.They twisted some of the translations. 3:17.. He actually states "compared to the rest of the world, Germans always go into something with a mentality of reaching 1st place.' Let's take a look at the NYtimes translation in itself and then re-translate it into Spanish. ENG SUBS(NY TIMES) : Germans always come in first place in the world, because of their minds SP (Translation of NY times translation): Debido a sus mentes(cerebros), Alemanes siempre llegan en primer lugar en todo el mundo. WHAT HE ACTUALY SAID: Los Alemans simpre salen por la cabeza en primer lugar del mundo ACTUAL ENG TRANSTLATION: Germans always come with a mentality of reaching 1st place, compared to the rest of the world" 3:33 "They say that, Germans have the most Analytical(Good Judgement) people and then the koreans,japanese". The other quote too, the one that goes' according to the experts Germans are.. Paraguyans come in last. ' I don't get that one. Because he actually says '... Y paraguayos estan en la ultima generation. ' I'm not sure why NY times said ' Parguayns come in Last place. ' Now i'm not sure if Spaniards or Parguyans have this expression' ultima generation.'. But the German translation is ' Der Letzen Generation' which means the last generation.. It's almost like he's saying ' Parguayns are still living in the last generation. ' LOL , Paraguyans are still on PS3 while the Germans and Japanese and Koreans are on PS5(PC modded tf up). I'm kdding about the last part .. But you see how loose the interpretation was lost out of convenience for the NY TIMES.It's obvious that the NY times loosely translated this to make him sound as supremec**st . As a Mexican of Oto Pamean/Mixtec descent I call BS on this narrative. This man is by no means a ra*ist. I know one when I see one. If you want to see what a real White(Iberian) Supremaci**t. Go to POLANCO,Condessa and colonia ROMA districts of Mexico City preaching their Iberian Supremac* to the native people of Mexico. This man is just frustratrted with his fellow country men. In Mexico you see Mexicans bash their own country men for lagging ; and praising countries other people like Japanese ,French and German.. ' Why can't we be more like them, they have the lowest crime rates, high test scores etc...'. He probably got scr** over by the Uruguayn govt just as the other natives. That's probably why he feels disenfranchised.

I'm a native spanish speaker and I just couldn't understand what he was saying, I always have trouble understanding paraguayan spanish... After reading your translation, i decided to watch again what he said and it doesn't look like that's what he said... if anything, i personally think that the provided translation found in the video is acceptable ...This is what he said "alemanes siempre salen por la cabeza en primer lugar del mundo, segun los expertos en esto , dicen que los alemanes tienen la mayor parte del juicio del mundo y despues estan los coreanos y los paraguayos estan en la ultima generacion " It looks like Spanish isn't his native language because what he said makes little sense..I don't blame the translators if they indeed did a bad job translating such sentences.....it's very hard to translate sentences that make little sense. If you were able to understand what he said in spanish, could you please tell me what did he say? thanks.
@robroux60746 жыл бұрын
(English,Spanish,Italian,German and Mazahuan speaker here). His wording cannot be taken in the literal sense into English because of grammar and word placement. The Spaniard's way of saying things are very different from Mexicans or Paraguayan. In his tone and sense of wording, JUICIO is not meant as Judgment, but as in mentality or critical thought. Now when he says " MAYOR PARTE del Juicio" , in Spanish Mayor-Parte means Majority but somehow the translators got BEST. ?.The word BEST isn't even used in German and the word for GRAND in German would be GROSSEN. I would say his tone is very GERMANIC and blunt but the words he chooses in spanish are well used...but somehow the translator tried to make him sound like a WHITE SUPREMACIST. So how did 'Salen por la Cabeza in primer lugar' turn into 'Germans always come in first place, because of their minds". He clearly said " Germans come with a head(mentality), to be first place in the World.". The last word confuses me tho. 'Gemacion". I don't think he did say generacion. But yes it is true, in LATIN AMERICA people are conformists. Majority of people don't want to be the BEST, they just want to get by. Now, that's just how Germans are, they are very pushy to have people meet their standards. Its not a form of supremacy but a form of caring. I really enjoyed translating this video because its amazing at how GERMANIC thought process influences his spanish and how English (GERMANIC and Romance hybrid language) can have mulitple meanings in the translations. Not only is English the langauge of Business but the langauge of the PRESS. The flexibility and it's multi lingual heritage make it easy to manipulate meanings

The staunchest Germans are in the south, in the colonies of Itapua. In truth, the first Germans arrived in Paraguay in 1537, with the first conquistadors, with the expedition of don Pedro de Mendoza. A few shiploads of German soldiers from the Holy Roman Empire, because the king of Spain, Charles of Hapsburg, was also Holy Roman Emperor. The first chronicle of the conquest of the Rio de la Plata was written in German, by a Bavarian soldier. I'm an American of mostly half German and half Norwegian heritage (with traces of other European ancestry on my mother's side of the family that I can never entirely keep straight no matter how many times I ask thrown in for spice), and unlike some of the Spanish-speaking descendants of German immigrants to that part of Paraguay, I know that higher-level cognitive traits like judgment are not solely a matter of one's genetics but is much more dependent upon environment being a learned skill that takes years to learn and master -- one doesn't come out of the womb with a fully-functioning frontal lobe capable of complex deductive and inductive reasoning right off the bat. That's what primary, secondary and post-secondary schooling is for. No one race, ethnicity or nationality is inherently superior over all others with regard to higher-level cognitive skills -- the evidence shows that to be so. Something tells me that the unnamed "experts" referenced by one of these descendants were 19th and 20th century German scientists and researchers before and during the Nazi era who had pro-Aryan bias and who gained social prominence during that era thanks to the Nazi takeover of Germany -- "experts" who've rightly been discredited over the decades since the end of WW2.

Some from Switzerland, some Prussia, some Netherland, etc, I’m talking right after Menno Simons (who founded the group basically) in the early 1500s. But it was basically a like minded group of ppl who stuck together and eventually would start moving around and settle in colonies all over the world. In my Case, my ancestors came from Prussia, and then moved on to many many different countries including Russia, Canada and Paraguay. And they only set foot in actual Germany for a very brief period of time, more so just passing through. Just thought I’d add that. Yup, you’re right, this is a totally different people, with a different ideology and obviously created for a specific reason. Very interesting! Thanks for your comment Mostknown Unknown 🤝

Here in Brazil there are millions of German descendants, they were given the best land for agriculture (stolen from the natives, obviously) since the government wanted to encourage immigration at that time. The vast majority of them are uneducated and are still living on the land that was given to their ancestors. My best childhood friend was of German descent, he ended up becoming a criminal worse than the "subhumans" he mentioned (yes, he was a neo-Nazi). I am obviously not anti-German, but someone needs to show some of them that this superiority propaganda does not correspond to the real world.

Well, as a Paraguayan, what I think is that the founder thought that even more Germans were going to arrive in his colony, basically he founded Nueva Germania 16 years after the Triple Alliance war, even so the guy was not able to buy land in the more livable at that time even if they were super cheap after the war (probably because he was a cheapskate). The reason for the miscegenation of the Germans originating from that colony is simple: they had too many women at their disposal and the flesh is weak, after the triple alliance most of the male population of Paraguay was decimated and women were the majority, life was difficult and men were needed you just have these pure Germans with a lot of Paraguayan women at their disposal who are already the product of the mixture between Spanish and Guarani Indians, and nature did its thing, I think this way is better than what occurred in the origins of Paraguay where our supreme dictator prohibited non-interracial marriage. I think that the interviewee sounds racist, it is nothing more than just the product of generations that continued to stretch the founder's message despite the fact that they themselves destroyed that narrative by mixing something that did not happen at all with the blacks of kamba kua and kamba kokue who still They conserve a lot and they were also a colony made up of black ex-slaves and spearmen, something curious to say the least

Secular (or Pagan) Germans had failed in antiquity too. They became very very successful only after they embraced Christianity. Hitler, who had an enormous library (mostly with historical books about Germany) was arguing that Christianity turned the Germans from warriors into peaceful peasants (producers). (That was the reason that he liked Islamism and the Japanese culture (of course Hitler was atheist secular)). An other interesting point is the connection and friendship between Elisabeth Förster-Nietzsche and Hitler. August Kubizek (the closest friend of Hitler during teenage and post-adolescent times) writes that Hitler had an obsession with Schopenhauer and Nietzsche.

They do look down on Paraguay and paraguayans, why? Because of the mentality that most paraguayans have and the political situation. Paraguay was in a dictatorship till the 80's so our population tends to be submisive or tries to ignore problems that don't affect them directly, plus the deep corruption on the goverment that is never corrected. The education is one of the lowest in the world and even our continent. Paraguayans tend to talk badly about our own country and people, saying things like: Paraguay luego no tiene una buena educacion( Paraguay doesn't have a good education), No podemos avanzar con toda la corruption(we cannot advance with all this corruption), eso politicos no hacen mas que robarnos toda la plata(our polititians only steal our money), nadie ngo no hace nada por el pais( nobody does nothing for the country).
