Bali had been our favourite getaway from Malaysia as its not too far and cost is very reasonable a food is authentic & tasty too. Ubud is that good that we can fly to Bali and spend our full duration in Ubud alone. Besides the Bebek, grilled Pork Ribs is good too.

Hello Jean, I am a new subscriber, American retired in Cyprus. i lived in Bali from 2005 to 2008. For me, the best part of Balinese culture was Gamelan and Legong. I attended many performances in Ubud and surrounding areas. I rented a house in Nyanyi for 1500 usd for a year. Went to Gili islands several times. Seeing your vlogs brings a lot back.

Nice hotel you stayed! So many new ones since I was I there. A setting like this would be 10 times the price in Singapore. The Ayam & Bebek betutu looks really nice and makes me hungry! Tegallalang is nice but after you visit Jatiluwih, you won't come back here. Be sure to visit next time! For best duck, visit Ibu Murni's (not cheap). Should have headed straight north from your hotel, I always take that route to Kintamani (less traffic). Many nice cafes there now overlooking Mt. Batur. Good to see you guys enjoying!
