"In his TEDx talk, Chayan Chopra, renowned for his portrayal of Dhruv Sanghvi in the Netflix series 'Class,' shares his life journey. Emerging from a family that emphasized the importance of academics and securing a stable job, Chayan initially found solace in his love for music, particularly the guitar, and indulged in his passion for watching movies. It was during his college years that he unearthed his profound affection for acting. Joining a dramatics society without a defined objective, he followed his instincts, prioritizing what brought him genuine joy.
Chayan delved deeper into his interests, skillfully navigating the balancing act between personal fulfillment and parental expectations. Devoting time to acting not only enriched his life but also allowed him to connect with his true self, providing a sense of vitality. Excelling in academics, he secured a job as anticipated by his family, all the while persistently pursuing his acting aspirations and maintaining steadfast belief in himself.
His breakthrough came with an opportunity to act in the film 'Guilty.' Following candid discussions with his loved ones, Chayan made the resolute decision to seize the chance, seamlessly integrating his job with his newfound acting pursuit. By affording himself the opportunity to wholeheartedly pursue his greatest passion, he not only achieved personal fulfillment but also serves as a motivating example for others to do the same." Chayan Chopra was born in Delhi, India to a middle class Hindu family. His mother’s name is Anju Chopra. He has an elder brother named Rachit Chopra who is Founder and CEO of Circlebrands. Chayan did his early education from Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram and later enrolled himself at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies to pursue Bachelor of Financial Investment and Analysis.
Chayan Chopra is an Indian actor and theatre artist. He is best known for his portrayal Dhruv Sanghvi in Netflix’s television series Class in 2022. Chayan started his Bollywood career with film Guilty in 2020 starring Kiara Advani, Taher Shabbir and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor. He is originally from Delhi, India.
