Trust me everybody: if your laptop isn’t a gaming laptop built in the last 5 years, it isn’t gonna run this game unless you’ve got the game on the lowest possible settings. And that would be if you’re lucky. Personally? Fully expected this. I do not know a single hyper realistic game that can run on an old computer. All of them require good GAMING laptops/PCs. Check the specs required for the game before you download it. And if you play it anyway, you’re gonna have to put the graphics on the lowest possible settings.

Inzoi has a Indonesian location in development so we may be expecting more cc attire related to the location. It's not even a dlc, it's in game. And Krafton listens to the players opinions and requests and impliments a lot of them into the game. Colour wheel for the skin is a big one that was requested then added in. So who knows. @@roach5367 Odds are actually high your computer can run TS3, it doesn't need anything top of the line by today's standards and each save only has access to one World, but you have to cap the frame rate because the Maxis devs didn't code one into the game and it can fry the video card without any limits. nraas has tips on what to do as well as CC that helps a lot. ​ @evrenisprettyuniversal I've only watched one game play video by Pixelade, for an unfinished version of the game so far, but the beach didn't look too empty other than he showed up right around sunset when most people would go home. Need to see what it was like during the day to test this theory. The weirdest thing were NPC Zois walking up to use the surf boards on the sand while his Zoi was chatting with a food vendor, but there were multiple cars creating actual traffic in the roads, being driven by actual NPCs, right outside his Zoi's apartment. (Also, InZoi has usable dumbbells lol.) Pixelade drove his Zoi's car until he realized that he had already passed it, so he parallel parked, and got out to walk to the volleyball game (which he quickly forgot about but there were some Zois there and a volleyball he could pick up.) You can roll the car windows up and down too, while the InZoi remains sitting inside the vehicle, and it was very smooth. He didn't seem to be having much trouble with InZoi overall but we'll have to wait and see what the final version is like.

It's so dumb and scummy that EA has a patent on push and pull features in character creation. Also tbh I don't like how this game uses generative images, we don't know if the model they're using uses ethically sourced images to train it off of and they've been quiet about it. Most of what the image generator spits out also have a lot of AI jankiness in my experience. I think it would've been better if they just gave us pre-made patterns/textures to choose from.

Hell, they literally have the option to upload your own textures in game for clothing. That literally lets you do everything an AI generator can without needing to question if their data set is ethical or not. Why do we need a feature to AI generate textures when you can just google image search the texture you want and pop it into the game? Screw generating a fake spy movie poster with 7 fingers, I’m just gonna pop in an actual James Bond poster because it will look better and I get more say on how it looks💀 While I’m cautiously optimistic for this game, the whole AI textures thing feels like an attempt to cash in on a trend rather than genuinely being something worth having. I genuinely think they could remove it without much issue because they’ve literally also implemented a better alternative.

I maxed out the graphics to level 5 (and i mean everything) with ray tracing et al, And it looks almost real. the lights bouncing from the pavement to my Zoi is astounding. The shadows are also just perfect and close to my renders. Yeah i own a decked out PC - MSI suprimx 4090 with complete set and customization, still i was getting the same fps when I'm rendering... as expected from a UE5 rendered game. So, in conclusion, if you wish to squeeze every graphical quality from this game, better go for a pc or laptop that can do renders. My honest opinion about the character creation right now is about 6/10. Of course it's still in pre-alpha stage, so we cant expect it to be comparable to a full game, as there are still parts that we cant tone more and some parts cant be molded at all. my rating is already very generous given that this is a pre-alpha, because although we cant tweak the Zoi to the extreme, it's already almost at the level of well known games with detailed character customization.

I built it four months ago when I saw upcoming games that seemed demanding, plus it's also a good deal since i have to do other stuff like rendering and modding. So I just went for it and built my own PC. To start your build, you of course need to decide which motherboard to choose. After that, you decide which comes first, GPU or CPU... or you can just go for both if you have the budget, but of course, you will need a good PSU (power supply) with a 1000 watts or more max capacity, so it's always better to check out the GPU and CPU power consumption first, and check out the base or turbo (Hyper) mode power consumption. for cooling, I suggest going for liquid cooling rather than just your usual fan cooling to avoid mishaps. As for your Ram sticks, go for 64gb. 32gb is ok... but games require more and more juice as time goes by. DDR4 is okay, but if you can, go for DDR5. The problem of having a higher GPU spec than your CPU or vise versa is bottlenecks. So lets say, you bought a GPU, A newer GPU but still using an old CPU, then you might get bottlenecks. bottlenecks limits your system to the lower device. 'the rabbit slows itself down for the turtle to keep up' kind of logic, so even if you have a better GPU card, you'd still end up with a subpar performance.

So, patents are usually enforced internationally, because there are treaties on this. But, like, imagine machine 1 that does thing A and is patented by company X. If company Y makes the same machine 1, that does A, that violates the patent. But if company Y makes a different machine, machine 2, that works very differently, but still manages to do A, or if it does A', which is very similar to A, but that is just technically different enough, then that doesn’t break the patent. It’s possible the programming here is different, or maybe those little dots on the face serve a function that’s just different enough to make it legally distinct.

I think EA won't be able to defend their patent and tbh, it should be time to crack this quality of life feature wide open. Patents are about making sure an inventor gets their fair amount of pay after investing in research and development... this is a bogus patent. I think patents should be tied to the amount of money spent on research, if you sue someone for breaking patents, you are only expected to get royalties until the patent runs out, and it's proportional to the amount of money spent on researching the tech. Like if some biotech company creates the new cure for breast cancer and they spent like 20 million dollars to hire 200 scientists yeah it probably makes sense that they get to cash in on their patent. But in those cases it's expected that other companies make use of the research and are happy to pay royalties because they wouldn't have been able to research it themselves...

Speaking as an occult player, I understand why none of them are focusing on occults right now. Occults need all the same basic things a human character does: food/rest, socializing, work and play. New games always push the limits but in a few years the tech needed to run Inzoi will be more common and cheaper, and more people will be able to play it. It really highlights how OLD Sims 4 is. Plus that game runs on consoles so it's throttled by that.

I have a pretty good gaming PC so no problems here, managed to run perfectly on the highest settings. But I agree that it sucks that not everyone is able to play because of their hardware but it's honestly the best decision they could have made, if they want to push the boundaries and make the game a next gen life sim they have to make it more high end in terms of hardware. The Sims 4 is still the same game that launched in 2014 and it's age is showing and one of the reasons why it's because they made the game not to dependent on having modern hardware so it can run even on potatoes, but let's be honest The reason they made it was not because they cared about their fanbase not being able to play and such but because by doing that it mean more people have access to the game so they can sell more dlc.

The information on the manipulation patent is almost impossible to find so its hard to review but patents usually only protect the tools and production of the final product and not the product itself. So unless the patent becomes actually public for review, i would assume the final product (digital character manipulation) is open to any company to try and recreate, granted their tools for creating that system are different.

The U.S is 32 - 40 hours per week. That is for full time. I don't know if South Korea gives breaks for workers. I know their high schools and colleges do not get summer vacation.

Plus, the graphics card inZOI requires is SIX years old and the processor it requires is FIVE years old at this point. It's absolutely NOT an unreasonable hardware requirement lol. Most people can meet that minimum, and most have upgraded within the last fiveish years as well. It just can't run on laptops and desktops from a decade ago, which is FINE. Technology will always be advancing and to hold back because of a few people who can't upgrade wouldn't be fair to the rest of us who have the components to handle it.

I think Krafton was sneaky when it comes to push and pull mechanics due to that you need to press on a "indicator" first to start editting the part of the body you want to edit, while in Sims 4 you just press and pull on the body part you're editting and I think that's how they likely won't get into trouble with EA, their mechanic works slighty different which I think EA didn't think of patenting

a tips from me: clean your pc, not only the dust but also the thermal paste on the processor by re-apply a proper thermal paste for it, do it at least every 6 month. ask anyone who is capable to do this, or go to any service center (computer store) and ask them to do it. also do this to your laptop never use a cooling pad for laptop because it will bring the dust inside to your laptop, use something like a cooling vacuum, because it will force the heat out from your laptop through the ventilation of the laptop (usually located at the left side or the back side of the laptop)

Thanks for you onest reaction to this, i saw from some gameplay that you can't enter waters when you are at the beach and your character can't even leave his own footprints on the sand. For a game this realistic i was expecting to look on these little details. I hope this get implemented so i can feel more immersion through the scenery. And i hope the can let you be goofie not just a 'seriuos and realistic simulation game where no silly things can happen!' i don't wish for just family, carreers, housebuilding, selfies and that's all. I love the character creator the customizing is amazing and there are too many good things to point out so I will just list the things I didn't like: - for how much you can customize, the traits are so far really limiting. Any creative character also HAS to be introverted, you cannot swap things out or create your own completely custom trait yet (obvi the game is still in development so that might change) - I whish the game had swatches like Sims 3, it does have it for clothes but I wish there were also swatches for Hair and eyes, not everybody can perfectly hit a natural blonde and I don't wanna be struggling 5 minutes to get a hair color not look muddy. That's it, that's all. I hope they also add something similar to a like and dislike system simply for autonomy purpouses but I don't put that on the list because I haven't seen any of the gameplay maybe that's already in the game / making (EDIT: Okay I just looked at gameplay there are likes and dislikes)

I honestly would like to try this game but I'm not particularly excited about it because a) it doesn't run on Mac and 2) I could not afford a computer that would runs this. One thing about the sims 4, at least in the beginning, is that it set out to at least be able to run on lower end computers, and with the free base game, tried to make it accessible to as many as possible. This game is not looking for that same audience.

The AI isn't ethical, because if it was, they would have said so, as people have been asking about it for months. (it is barely possible to have an ethical AI, unless you make all the image used yourself. There are always rules surrounding "free" pictures and arts. It is extremely expensive to get ethical data to train AI on, so, if you want to make a profit, you steal) Also, the company is open about how they want to use AI INSTEAD OF HIRING PROGRAMMERS OR ARTISTS (See, Krafton AI). Artists and programmers are struggling rn to get jobs in the industries, gamers better not support AI because y'all want a new game as fast as possible, like good consumers.

The character creation looks really solid! In the trailers I only ever saw Korean-looking characters, and I was really wondering if Krafton would have the chops to design a diverse set of people. I'm really glad that is (mostly) answered, now. The clothes are VERY zoomer, and the lack of Muslim representation is a problem for making a realistic world. The use of generative AI at all is a HARD pass for me, though. That, and Krafton's frankly exploitative microtransaction policy. If I'm gonna jump ship from EA, going to a company that's just as bad, if not worse than EA, seems like I'm just trading one bad situation for another.
