Thanks Cap. It may be a number of weeks or more before I release another video. I have other obligations popping up I need to take care of. Beside my next step will be the collar and radar. I've already got a couple videos here on KZbin of me working on these on my robot. I was thinking of skipping shooting this part.

Weirdly I can’t say as I’ve ever noticed those vents before now, I presume they were actually there for air circulation for the actor? (FYI you’ve got a few minutes of black at the end of the video, there, feller, but I think you can clip that without reloading by using KZbin editing tools?)

Thanks for the advice. I'll trim it asap. Yes, the vents were there on the original robot. they helped air get into the custom to help Bob May breath better and stay cooler

David Schulpius I wonder if the ability to slide open meant he could be passed cups of tea, hahaha, and there is a certain irony that they are now actual vents to help keep the inner workings of a real robot from over heating.

@@Lumibear. From stories I've heard I think Bob was a coffee and cigarette guy. He would often smoke inside the robot during breaks. I guess it was a chore getting in and out of the costume . Those vents surely came in handy moving the smoke out from inside.
