What kit is the absolute easiest to do I’m a beginner

They’re all great for beginners, but if you want to look at actual numbers, Sail Away has the least number of pieces (for its size). However, if there’s another that you love, do that one! Start in the outer blocks and work your way in to the more complicated blocks.

Bought my first Legit Kits kit (Waterlily) and saw lots of comments on Facebook about your organizing method, so I figured I would watch your video. Did not realize there were three. I became hooked on ziplocks after a Judy Niemeyer quilt. My latest Violet Craft had exactly enough fabrics to leave on a wheeled shelf in my sewing room. I really did not figure that I would learn anything eye opening, but your trick for lining up to sew with the wonky angles in the second video was awesome and I cannot wait to try it! Thanks!

Jamie so after watching this I think I messed up😱 I trimmed my blocks down to the outside seam ! Should I have left all the excess fabric on them while connecting the sections ? Hope this makes sense. I'm going to post my finished blocks for row 1 so you can see😩🦊

Ok don’t panic! Do you mean you trimmed your sections? That’s perfectly fine, it’s completely a personal preference. I am just lazy, so would rather trim after I sew them together and that way I trim two at once. So long as you trimmed on the outer seam allowance line, not the inner sewing line, you’re fine! You can still use the pin in point method to join sections either way.
